2014 AFC Wild Card Game: #5 Kansas City Chiefs at #4 Indianapolis Colts

This is a tough one because I have been down on the Chiefs all year (correctly) but the Colts are another media darling whose record doesn't reflect how good they are. I think I like the Colts with a 3-7 point win; I will possibly be on -2.5 come game time.

The Chiefs really haven't beaten a good team this year; I can say quite confidently that this is the worst 11 win team of all-time. I think Luck will shred their "elite" defence.
 
I'm really surprised at the results in this thread, maybe it is just my bias but I think the Chiefs are the worst team in the playoffs :kanye:

Is it really that surprising though?

Indy has beaten some good teams this year but they've also been blown out of the water by a few teams that didn't even make the playoffs. Nobody ever knows which team is going to show up. Will it be the colts that dominated Denver in the first half and physically beat teams like Seattle and San Fran to close out games? Or will the team that got embarrassed by both the rams and the cards show?

I like The Colts at home but Reid is not a retard and he's going to break down the film from the week 16 matchup and find his mismatches. The real question IMO is whether the Indy coaching staff will be able to get their players motivated to start fast like they have the last couple of weeks.

don't you get it ? no one has a tough schedule anymore. That remark applies to every team in the league the last 3 years. They didn't beat Denver but you dont poopoo the accomplishment that Andy Reid has improved this team to a better place. They have done what they needed to do based on league wide competition and accomplished much. Calling them the worst 11 win team is stupid childish ranting

Oversimplified thinking, some schedules are invariably harder or easier that others due to the obvious imbalances of scheduling.

Away and count the amount of backup quarterbacks who started against Kansas City and get back to me. Also check who was quarterbacking for the opposition the day they got their only win against a playoff team; here's a hint - he has a brother named Marcus.

still doesn't make them the worst 11 win team in history. That's just dumb arm chair coach silliness.
 
Going to be hard for the Chiefs to win this one if Charles is out for the rest of the game. The Chiefs become one dimensional pretty quickly without him to scare the Colts defense.
 
Ridiculous to call the Chiefs the worst 11-5 team in NFL history. Thats comical. Get that shit out of here. They aren't even the worst 11-5 team this NFL season. Case in point... todays game.
 
Great throw by Andrew Luck, kept his team alive. Lets see if his defense can step up and make a stop to keep their momentum going.
