The better team won tonight, again. Im somewhat disappointed but at the same time had you told me we'd even be in this position two months ago I would have laughed. 49ers are just a more talented team at this point, especially given the insane amount of injuries. Backups are backups for good reason. When you are starting them all over, things are not likely to go well.

Matthews, Shields, Neal, Hayward, Jolly, Bulaga, Bakhtiari, Finley.
Even guys like Bostick, Mulamba, House. Second tier for sure but could have helped out.
Thats a lot to overcome. Feel free to toss in poor performances (all year) from Raji and Burnett.

Definitely would have been wise to accept the $8M per year offer that he was rumored to have been offered. Unless its a more than reasonable contract, I would not bother bringing him back at all.

Let me know how ratings = good product.
No coincedence 3/4 of America was frozen into there homes , 3 games had to corporate comp there way to sellouts and the lowest scoring game going into the 4th was the most watched.
But yeah of people watch it must mean NFL is getting better.
