Heard that Seattle really wanted Easley, so I guess trading back wasn't an option for the Pats.

Now lets see what Minnesota does after trading up for that pick.

Best pro player comparison is Donovan McNabb. That ground ball pass is all too familiar to me.

True, but O-line was a big need and in one off-season to add both Albert and James, you've made a large dent in a weakness. If they really liked the guy, which is likely the case, why risk moving back?

I bought into the oline or DB for the Panthers, assuming Benjamin wouldn't be there, and thought they were looking Devonte Adams or Jordan Matthews/Allen Robinson in the 2nd, red zone target like Benjamin is nice tho

The more I am thinking the more I like the Lions pick. I do think they could have weighed the option to trade down instead of picking right away, but nobody screamed TAKE ME. At first I was like we took another TE but the thing is Brandon Pettigrew is one of the worst players on the team. He was fucking god awful last year. Resigning him didn't mean we were all set at the position. Then Joesph Fauria was undrafted for a reason. He cant run routes, block, or run for more than 10 yards. He's a meh player who was lucky enough to catch 7 overthrown balls from Stafford for touchdowns after he got single coverage. Eric Ebron not only gives us a much better upgrade at the position, he can also play WR and help with the shit depth we have there. If Tate or Johnson got hurt, they'd have nobody to step in. I think a far more glaring hole is on the defensiveline and I hope they can help fix that in rounds 2-3.

Was very happy with the Cowboys pick. Wasn't sexy, but, Jerry is making the right choices. Last year Frederick and this year Martin. Add in Smith evolving into a very good LT and it has the makings of a very good OLine.

Hoping we address defense tonight. Hoping for a DLineman and Safety tonight.

NO clue what the fuck they are doing. Noway Easley would be gone by round 2. Not happy.

Easley is a very good, vastly underrated. I don't think he would last until the Pats pick at 2nd round. He had his durability issues, but still a great pick for them. He took over some Florida games when he was heathy. Give him a year to get completely healthy while sitting behind Kelly and Wilfork and you'll have a nasty DLine of the future.

Vikings - probably could've traded back to get Barr. I can't wait to see what Zimmer does with him.

Cowboys - buliding up a good Oline for future when the have to draft a QB.

Rams - OLine / Dline, can never be mad at that in a draft

Bengals - Continue to build a great back 4

Browns - Great value instead of picking at 4.

Cardinals - Buchanan is going to kill someone back there by week 5.

David Caldwell had a presser last night saying Bortles was their overall #1 player on their board. Clearly convinced he is THE(IR) guy. Can't hate on them for that. Gives the Jags some #juice with a new QB. I'm sure they expect him to be Matt Ryan, I'll be happy with Carson Palmer.

Jaguars have NEVER drafted a good QB. EVER.

New England getting Easley was great. Fuck the ACLs...quickest off the snap you'll ever see in CFB. He's be on an inside shoulder before the snap gets to the QB.

At least they didn't take a bar fighting, drunk driving loser. And the Broncos are in win now mode, like no other, and yet this kid will only see the field in dime packages.

Could have had an every down starter in Chris Borland...at a need position.

Oh, I know, he's just got to stay on the field. Two ACL's isn't a very good bill of health. Like I said, the Pats have the luxury to take that risk considering they've drafted well for so many years.

Tate and Ebron are legit upgrades over Burleson and Pettigrew. Ebron being drafted helps Tate and Johnson too. Teams are now going to have a tougher decision on whether to roll coverage to Calvin Johnson because there are now other targets for Stafford.
