Wonder if Texans have the balls to draft Carr.

The wifey Clowney jersey already came in.

 

I am pretty sure he is the best QB left on most boards by this point, and they need to fill that spot. What's the feeling in the media and community about that possibility, or had it not been floated much because of the #1 pick and the other QBs?

Contrary to popular belief, his mechanics are very solid. Pitt's o-line was butt this year and he still played well. Wouldn't be a bad flier for a team looking to develop a guy over 3-4 seasons.

Vikings and Browns. Vikings for getting the best QB in the draft and a good pass-rusher, Browns for nabbing Gilbert/Manziel and stealing a first rounder from the Bills.

I'm guessing they are praying teams call to trade the pick, so they don't have to make it themselves. Right or wrong, David made the Carr name toxic in Houston. If they do go with QB....Savage has been mentioned as a favorite for BOB. He was the only one out of the Trio (BOB, Smith, McNair) that didn't consider taking Manziel toward the end. Probably why they didn't trade up to get him around 20th pick.

Edit: reading that McNair was willin to draft Manziel bit left it up to the other guys.

Teams were not fucking around with the DBs in this draft. The entire top tier of DBs were drafted by the end of the first round. Every safety worth a real damn was scooped up.

Easley is a very good, vastly underrated. I don't think he would last until the Pats pick at 2nd round. He had his durability issues, but still a great pick for them. He took over some Florida games when he was heathy. Give him a year to get completely healthy while sitting behind Kelly and Wilfork and you'll have a nasty DLine of the future.

The main reason why Florida went to the Sugar Bowl two years ago.

The guy was the fastest off the snap I've seen in CFB.

Thankfully the Lions were able to secure a tight end early. It's not like plenty of great tight ends have been found in the middle rounds. Almost all the best guys have been early first round selections. Any time you can pick up a third receiving option and have it be a guy known for drops, you have to do it.

Jones must hate Free more than he loves headlines. Quite the shocker. If he's as good as Frederick what a great pick. However man o man if Manziel is a superhero somewhere else itll be worse than the Randy Moss ordeal.

Happy with the 'Boys pick @ 34. Wanted D-Line. Whether it was a DT or DE, it didn't matter. Just needed to be addressed. Coach Billick is right though, we need to get back into the 3rd round. We need bodies.
