IMO, the Oscars are for women. Same as those infomercials by Cindy Crawford. I get their popularity, I really do ... but the second that men get their panties in a knot about anything Oscar-related, they should turn in their man card. Again, don't get me wrong, I absolutely love movies and am ok with the awards handed out ... but the Oscars are simply an in-house awards with actresses wearing expensive jewels handed out by Hollywood jewelers. And these awards, as Amy Adams has pointed out, are handed out by 70-year-old white dudes who have no clue.

Neither is a documentary. Both are movies. Getting technical about either is ridiculous. Saw the first Hawke/Delpy movie years ago, it was good ... haven't seen the followups. Have yet to see 12 Years as a Slave, but realize it isn't 100% documentary.

You've accidentally admitted to watching gossip girl here and comment on dudes attire and appearance in the post a pic thread several times. You are the only one in this thread talking about necklaces and dresses. You gotta have a man card to revoke somebody else's. And I think you actually may have a drinking problem as well as a personality disorder.
As for the oscars, I thought the show was good but not great. Ellen is a good host but her schtick is too repetitive. Hard not to be, though, and I did laugh at quite a few jokes so it wasn't boring by any means just not great.
My predictions for MM and 12AS for the main categories was thankfully correct. Mcconaugheys speech was awkward and kinda weird, but he ended it niceky.
