The NFC is absolutely a better conference than the AFC. The middle of the road teams are about even on each side but there are 3 elite teams in the NFC versus 1 in the AFC.

But the winner has to be guy who said Wilson is the reason the Seahawks are 11-2.

What is Seattle's record right now with Matt Flynn at QB? Tarvaris Jackson?

Very few QB's in the game today would have won games losing 3/5 of their offensive line.. including two All-Pro's.. all while having those guys replaced by an out of position guy playing LT, and two undrafted guys who were ex DEFENSIVE LINEMEN on the interior, with a 7th round rookie at right tackle. Forget the fact his WR's were the corpse of Sidney Rice, Golden Tate, Doug Baldwin, Jermaine Kearse and Ricardo Lockette. He's had Percy Harvin for 19 snaps this year.

Russell Wilson lost once with that personnel. Once.

Not denying the Seahawks have an incredible defense, but Russell Wilson is a huge huge reason why they are 11-2. And they'd be a 5 or 6 win team right now without him. I firmly believe that.

Seattle/Denver is the best team in the NFL. Their nearest challengers are San Francisco, Carolina. There are several AFC teams who would need to get on hot form to contend but then again there is also the Saints and the Cardinals in that category; the main point being that the true quality teams are mostly in the NFC. We can split hairs over the rest.

Honestly out of all those guys you listed, yeah I don't think they're as good a team.

But I agree with the overall point here. Wilson and Seattle are the perfect fit. Not sure Wilson is this good in another situation and vice versa

i've been 100% correct about the SB winner the last 3 years = better than you.

I've also been top 3 for prizes in 100 plus entries for bowl pickems 2 years in a row.

I don't give a flying fuck about point spreads, I just pick winners !....and I'm only 11 spots behind you anyway :tiptoe:

Wilson is good. He is better than Kaep. Kaep is average right now and clearly limiting the 49ers passing game. Anyone that has watched the 49ers can see that he has trouble going through his progressions, putting touch on passes, throwing on the run, decision making, etc. He has actually regressed since last season and it's because teams are keying on his ability to run and his strengths and he hasn't improved enough passing the ball. He also looks less confident as the coaches seem to be trying to limit him as well.

Wilson has improved since last season and is much more polished.

Neither of them are Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, or Drew Brees.

Both teams can win the Super Bowl because of their defenses, ability to run the ball, great special teams play, and good enough QB play.

The Broncos aren't invincible. They've looked pretty bad at times this year (first half against jacksonville, second half against new england, first half against KC, first half against tennessee). Obviously, slowing Manning down for 4 quarters is damn near impossible, but he is mortal. Let's not forget that his playoff record all time is 9-11.

Since when has football ever been a 1 man sport? Of course QB is more important than ever, but let's not act like Joe Flacco was the only reason the Ravens won the Super Bowl last year or the 49ers got to the SB last year only because of Kaepernick.
