All of those plot-lines are either continued or resolved in A Dance with Dragons.
 
The third book (I forget all the names, its been a while) is easily the best, in my opinion. The first two books just set up for the third, which is absolutely amazing in how much of a roller coaster it is. The fourth was a bit of a let down, but the fifth is strong again. I cannot wait until 2028 when the 4000 page 6th book is finally published.

About 300 pages in, just read the Tyrion chapter where Tywin informs Cersei that she needs to marry again, and that Tyrion is to wed Sansa to keep the north in hand. I am so fucking angry at that idea and I hope that never, ever, happens. Hasn't Sansa been through enough as it is? Ugh. I hate Tywin Lannister.

Sansa is so annoying though. Yes, her chapters are very informal to what is going on in Kings Landing, but she isn't that entertaining. Hopefully in later books she becomes a badass. Still Arya is the better of the two.

Agreed. I don't even like her that much, but at least she's no longer as much of a bitch as she was at the start of things. Since Ned got got she's been a lot more tolerable. Too bad it took that long for her to finally see what a twat Joffrey is/was. Either way, I just want the Starks to be reunited. For her to be further subjected to Lannister treachery is infuriating.

I felt the same way, but totally did not see it coming because of how well she convinced her compatriots that it was the logical/realistic thing to do. I had to read that scene (where she sent the Dragons on them) like three times before I fully comprended the fucking awesome move Dany had just pulled. Dany>all.
