PG - Magic Johnson - Clearly the best at his position, other guys just didn't cause the defensive mismatches that he did.

SG - Michael Jordan - Duh.

SF - Larry Bird - Great shooter and was a clutch player at every level.

PF - Tim Duncan - Best PF of all time, but Karl Malone could be put here if you wanted more of a scoring threat.

C - Wilt Chamberlein - Most dominant big man of all time on both sides, but if you wanted a more recent player, Hakeem the Dream was absolutely amazing and absolutely exposed a young Shaq.

Man that's a tough one. Prime Dream vs Prime Shaq would be a great matchup. Not sure I'd take Shaq 100% of the time just because I feel like The Dream was a more well rounded player than Shaq was but Shaq in his prime was perhaps the most physically dominant player ever. Tough call.

That is where it gets interesting. Shaq never had to play against any dominant centers during his prime. The NBA was basically devoid of it outside of Shaq. There were some good centers, but no one even close to Shaq's level as most were older like Olajuwon and Ewing. Was he so dominant because of his ability or because of the lack of ability on the other side of the ball?

I'd probably say a mix between the two, but the same could be said for Jordan as well. Who was the next best SG during his era...Drexler? .Either way I see Shaq as the 3rd greatest center behind Chamberlain and KAJ.
