IMO Kobe should be ahead but its hardly something completly stupid to put Duncan ahead

Both have 4 rings

Duncan has averaged a double double over his carrer which Kobe hasnt (i know different positions) and both are the leaders of their teams .

Duncan has also won more Finals MVPs and More overall MVP awards in his carrer

Well from what you just posted I can agree that it's not completly out of line to put Duncan ahead of Kobe because what he has acheived, but yes Kobe should be ahead of him considering he at least one of top ten players to play the game and even ARGUABLY the best.

No, Kobe is not "arguably the best", nor will he likely ever be.

Its so hard to rank players in terms of "greatness" because they all play different positions. Now its easier to make a list of the best Centers, Power Forwards, Two Guards, and so on, but to combine them is much harder because of the different stats each position can put up. The best big men and PG's usually average a double double or close to it, all the while two guards and SF's are the scorers.

Have you seen the records of teams Kareem was on when he wasn't playing with The Big O, or Magic?

His lone Bucks team without Big O was in his rookie year, in which he took them to a record of 56-26 (Up from 27-55 the year before).

His Lakers teams without Magic went: 40-42, 53-29, 45-37, and 47-35.

Looks pretty good to me.

Kobe and Duncan can go either way but no Kobe is not arguably the best player ever. LOL at that. Top 10-15 area for sure. IMO he's not in the Top 5-10 to ever play the game.
