I like the game because it is smooth and more realistic than other Maddens for the 360. It's actually fun this year, and the animations are great. The CPU AI is the best it's been in forever.

The Animations he's talking about is probably the "pro tak" which definitely gives the game a more "realistic" feel.

This is why I stopped playing already. Its stupid, and the least realistic thing Ive ever seen in a video game. There is no rhyme or reason to it. I get there with Briggs, her comes Urlacher, next is Peanut Tillman, and there goes Chris Johnson for a 91 yard TD run.

This game is on the same level as 09 for me. I actually played 09 every day for a few months. I don't have the desire to play this game nearly as much because it's not as fun.

The running game is broken. It is utterly fucking ridiculous that a player can constantly come running through my OLine with a linebacker and hit my HB 2 yards in the backfield every single fucking time.

The flats are constantly open. Doesn't even matter what coverage you are in sometimes. I can't tell you how many times I've had guys complete swing passes or quick outs to the flats when I've been in a cover 2 zone with the man align off.

If you control a highly rated DEnd with good speed you can get instant pressure on the QB easily. If you control an average DE and try the exact method to get pressure you will fail. Stupid.

DBs cover way too much ground. If you hit a post route over the safety playing robber in a cover 3 zone the corner should not be able to break up the pass or even pick it off. It's not his responsibility, you've made the correct read, this super AI is stupid.

The speed difference between players is so silly that it's made this game childish. I didn't know that only super fast players can run outside the tackles. Every back below 90spd in this game cannot run outside of the tackles. And every back with 94+ speed can break tackles and run through piles of defenders like tecmo bo.

I could go on with more but I'm hoping you get it by now.

This game is shit. We were promised "next-gen Madden" and we got nothing. I kept my mouth shut and reserved judgment until the game released and now it's time to voice my opinion. Just as Rosetta is doing.

This game is flawed as much, if not more than 09. The only reason I'm actually upset is because of all the bullshit Ian Cummings and those dickless cowards at EA fed us all...fucking...year...long.

Hell, even if you don't think this game sucks you should at least be disappointed in the fact that the game isn't great after all the bullshit blogs and "community days" they gave us? What a joke.

Its sad how our desire for realism has taken away our enjoyment from sports games, because there was a time before patches and the internets that we loved these games and abused the glitches. We use to brag to our friends that we could beat the computer by 100. My how have times changed. I am of the opinion that for some next gen and the desire for realism has ruined the sports video game genre.

Actually, I agree with Rosetta. I could go into lengthy detail of why this game stinks, but why bother? I've been doing it at OS like a broken fucking record, and hardly any of it will be fixed.

Is it a good game? Only if you compare it to Madden 08/09. It's not a good game if you compare it to actual good video games. We were promised gold via blog updates by who is quickly becoming just another half assed pitch man, and we ended up with a slighty better version of a game that isn't worth shitting on.

maybe becasue as kids we all thoughts hey this is neat look what i can do. but as adults we realise that the game can be and is more fun when you play it like it is on the field on sundays/ i fail to see why it is such a big deal that we just want what we paid for and were promised. a game that doesnt suck so bad that it makes you want to break shit. the new stuff they put in is half assed and the old shit is still broken. the most fun i had with tecmo bowl was tecmo super bowl 3 where it actually tracked the players stats and let you run the team in a chise style for the first time ever. it also had create a player.
