Justin Treadwell to Arizona: Wildcats Land 5-Star WR Prospect

Rich Rodriguez and the Arizona Wildcats landed a big-time recruit for next years team.


Justin Treadwell, a 5-star recruit who plays football for Ironwood Ridge in Tucson, AZ., verbally committed to Arizona, his hometown, through a post on his Twitter account:

According to ESPNU's composite rankings, Campbell is listed as the No. 1 receiver, the No. 1 player in Arizona and the No. 4 reciever in the nation in his class.


A 6'2", 182-pound wideout who runs a 4.43 40-yard dash, Campbell already boasts an impressive collection of highlights.


Per his profile on ESPN, Campbell had 14 offers from some of college football's biggest programs. Oklahoma, Oregon, Standford, Texas A&M all offered scholarships to the emerging star; those programs and many others have to feel disappointed in seeing Arizona as Treadwell's choice.


Treadwell still has a long way to go before he can officially call the University of Arizona his college home.


That being said, he made a strong statement about his intentions to become a Wildcat on today.
