No way. He's a douche, but so are 90% of athletes. Kid has unreal power, so I'd like to see him at full force to see what he can do.

I hate to see draft busts more than anything. So even though I'm an O's fan and hate the Nats, I'm still rooting for the kid.

O's look they can hit this year, but can they pitch?

Not rooting for him to fail, Harper will not play in the majors this year so who knows lets see how he does in the minors.

Not really, him succeeding is better for the game. More good young players = more young fans. On that note, what minor league games are you guys gonna try to attend this year?

I have to wait until after the draft to pinpoint my schedule, since the minor league club near me (Brooklyn Cyclones) is short-season. Most of the guys involved are straight out of the draft so I'm gonna wait and see which prospects I want to go see.

I know I'll definitely check out the Tampa affiliate this time, just given how many picks they have I'm sure I'll catch a lot of good prospects in that one. But I want to go to as many games as possible this summer. Minor league baseball is a great time to be had, especially on Coney f'n Island. Can't beat a full day at the beach, followed up with cheap baseball and cheaper booze.

I've said it a few times. I live 5 minutes from Pfitzner Stadium where the Potomac Nationals play. They are Advanced A right above where Harper is starting his season with Class A Hagerstown. I bought tickets to all the home games in May in hopes that he stops here.

Hopefully this year I get the internship with the Altoona Curve (Pirates AA affiliate) that I applied for last year. I'm sure I'll be going to some of those games either way, especially if Harper makes the move to AA this summer.

My company usually does a quarterly meeting at the Dell Diamond, home of the Round Rock Express, the former AAA affiliate of the Astros. The team is owned by Nolan Ryan, so starting this year, they are now the Rangers AAA team.

Chris Johnson was the big prospect the last few years. I saw guys like Eric Young Jr come in as visitors. The Rangers don't have much to be excited about at the AAA level, but maybe i'll catch a decent MLB rehabber at some point.

My hometown team is the Quad City River Bandits.They are currently the Cardinals Low-A Affiliate. However the park is one of the nicest minor league parks in the nation and has one of the best views of any minor league park in the nation. It was recently renovated and with Yankee Stadium closing down two years ago Modern Woodman Park(Formerly John O'Donnel Stadium) is now the third oldest operational ball park in America behind only Fenway Park and Wrigley Field.

I might make it down to some Peoria Cubs games as well.
