For everyone who says steroids dont work look at Arods stats from 01-03. He averaged 52 homeruns in those three years and averaged 39 homeruns in the rest of his career. Pretty big difference if you ask me. I applaud Arod for coming "clean" but I dont buy most of the crap that he said during his interview.

Yeah but in all of those 3 years he had more at bats and in 2007 he had 54 homeruns. None of those 3 years stick out from the others like he said.

The only reason why he probably said 2001-2003 is because 2003 was when he tested positive so why would he come out and say I took steroids as a yankee. Cause I am pretty sure there is more pressure playing in NY then playing in Texas where he had the "weight of the world on him". But hey at least he is not going to face criminal charges like Bonds and Clemens.

Those 104 names are probably gonna be a bunch of minor leaguers like the mitchell report was. Everyone thought that the mitchell report was going to name like 50 big league players when really there were a lot of nobodies in it. Sure there were a few big league players but not as many as people expected.

even if you take steroids or HGH or w/e, you still have to be a phenominal athlete, the steroids doesn't just make it so that you magically hit a home run every time or throw 112 MPH, so i still think A-Rod is one of the best of all time. he just fucked it up.

Steroids add muscle mass which adds power. Steriods are for pussies who cant gain the muscle by themselves.

you can have all teh muscle you want, if you can't catch up to the ball and have the hand eye coordination to read the pitch, react, and know what kind of swing to put on the ball, your nothing. Why do you think the world strongest men didn't get into baseball when it was infested with HGH. Just because your strong doesn't mean you have the coordination to hit the ball as well as AROD did.

Its because the more power you have the more homeruns you have. Look at Adam Dunn. I probably can make better contact then him but I cant hit the ball 500 feet.
