[ALL] "Bad" games that you love

One of my favorite games as a kid. I played this shit all the time, yet it got the shittiest reviews.

Clockwork Knight comes to mind too.

NCAA has been overrated for years, reviewers aren't uncovering a lot of the bugs and issues after only a couple days of playing. NCAA 10 was hot garbage and got a 9.3 on Teamxbox.com....It's really no different for NCAA 12, and that was the most buggiest game I have ever played.

I can't believe I forgot this game. I even own it! (on both 360 and Steam, no less).

It's still upsetting that SEGA got up in Obsidian's ass about making the game better despite the numerous reboots while still in production.

That and there's about a 1/3rd of the game missing due to cuts spurned on by a hurried deadline...

Yup. I like Madden too. I think NCAA is better but Madden is still a good game this year. It was good last year although the defense was almost non-existent.

I hate NCAA because there was too much route mirroring and you couldn't throw high enough to throw over anyone's head consistently. Someone 15 yds from my receiver should not have any impact on the play. The game handicaps you until it gets the upper hand.

Custom Playbooks were broken, same with Super Sim, Transfer Fails in OD were a problem until a FOURTH PATCH was released in January, Teambuilder teams couldn't be used in OD without freezing, pixilated fields, same commentary since Ncaa 2003, no pass trajectory, super LBs, physic DBs, no momentum or physics, CPU inability to throw a hb screen, special teams play is non-existent, patches that broke more than they fixed (broke the no huddle offense), player tendencies changing when editing player (incoming recruits tendencies are still not fixed), NO PASS INTERFERENCE PENALTIES....just off the top of my head.

No one is just finding reasons to bash NCAA, this game was a disaster. Hell, you know the game is pure shit when it takes 4 patches and each patch ADDS more glitches and bugs to the game.

A lot of people use Teambuilder and Super Sim, including me. It is very disappointing when both of those features did not work correctly. Why don't you care about commentary? Sure it's 10 years old but what are you going to listen to instead, the crowd? It sounds like I'm playing in a middle school JV basketball game. There is no emotion or sense of 12th man.

Super LBs and Physic DBs are not "little things that are nagging". You should be able to throw to a open man over the middle without fear that a LB 10 yards away is going to jump up and swat it out of nowhere. A DB should not know what play you're running (can't audible, defense always audibles with you) and see the ball from the back of their head.

No blocked punts/kicks, having a good kicker automatically means he's just as good at punter, people should be able to block and not go into full retard mode when someone fields a punt. Special Teams is not 1/3 of the game, its not even 1/10, it doesn't even matter in the state it's in. I would say working penalties, especially pass interference, should work correctly. Seeing two pass interference penalties in 4 seasons with my sliders maxed out is absurd.

It may not be a complete disaster (NCAA 08, 09, 10) but the game is not very good. I hope next year they fix a lot of the issues and I won't see 5'9" 165lb 75ovr CB steamrolling a 95ovr 5'11" 220lb power back.

I don't really care too much about reviews, for me it's more when games have borderline broken aspects (like Alpha Protocol, for example, where it's almost impossible to play the game with an assault rifle because of the shitstick "aiming" yet pistols make the game more of a distraction than a challenge). Or for my more recent example, dull as fuck combat that just goes on and on and on and on.

Bold 1: Which is what I said in the first place. I never said it was perfect but it's definitely more playable that he made it out to be. NCAA and Madden. I agree that I hope they fix the issues but I'm enjoying playing it this year.

A few I thought of today. I remember getting these two games as part of a B2G1 used game sale at a Blockbuster many years ago.

I really did enjoy both games, especially MI, There were so many cool things. Stealth, skydiving, cool gadgets.

Same here.....I actually enjoyed the story and have held out hope that they will make a second one. I think that it would have the green light, if not for the extraordinarily long development process.
