So, for those of you who don't know, the flaming pile of crap known as xbox live decided to break last night/this morning (depending on where you are) just before the Batman: Arkham Asylum was set to download. So I did not get to play the demo last night, instead I turned on Conan. I fell asleep unhappy watching the jonas brothers (fml) trying to see how much douchebaggery and faggotry they could fit into a 10 minute interview on conan. I'm glad I don't have a daughter because I would have to slap here every time she tried watching those homosexuals. Thanks for that one xbox.
Anyways I woke up this morning and dragged myself out of bed and into the miserable day with the only upside being the Batman: Arkham Asylum demo. After taking my normal morning piss, I turned on my xbox and went to the marketplace and found the demo, after clicking to download it, I encountered one of xbox's flaming retard rules. Microsoft must have wrote these rules with the people who have been running detroit for the last 5 years because they suck as much dick as lupe. Anyways the screen said that you had to have a gold membership to download the demo, and I only had a silver membership. Damn straight I only have silver, I'm not paying for that crap until MW2 comes out.
Luckily I have something saved up for this. I got out one of my 48-hour Gold membership cards. I found the 25 letter code and entered it, 10 fucking times! Here's another one of microsofts rules, I have to enter the code at the right spot. You'd think that by going to manage account-->enter code: I'd be able to enter the code for a 48-hour gold membership, right? nope! So I spent a half an hour entering this code all over my account page and the marketplace until I had those 25 numbers and letters memorized. Finally I found the right one, and went to download the demo.
So here's the real kick to the crotch, the 48-Hour Gold membership, doesn't allow you to download gold only content. That's what my xbox told me when I tried downloading the Batman: Arkham Asylum demo. Are you fucking kidding me! Why the fuck would you advertise it as (and I quote) ":48 Hour Gold Subscription." Why the fuck would you give me a 48 hour gold subscription when I can't even use all the privaledges of a gold membership. This is like giving me a fucking batmobile, but saying all you can do is drive it like a normal car, you can't shot missiles or jump over buildings with it or drive the bat pod. This fucking sucks! XBOX should name the card "48 hours of hearing 12 year olds yell "fucking newb" cause that's all this piece of shit card gets me. FUCK.This is what I don't understand, the 48 hour subscription advertises these words: "Games+Friends+Trailers+Tournamenents+Chat+XBOX LIVE ARCADE+DEMOS+XBOX LIVE MARKETPLACE
Why the fuck would you specifically lead me on to believe I could download demos with the subscription when in fact I can't FUCK! This is more fucking bull shit then the time I got kicked out of six flags for standing up on the log ride. FUCK!
So looks like I won't be playing the Batman: Arkham Asylum demo.
