I knew when, about 10 minutes after I posted this and the game was now front and center when you clicked on the giant ad, that you would come strutting in with some stupid thing about the dashboard. Jesus man, do you ever get tired of this shtick?

For whatever reason, early this morning, despite the ad being front and center the actual DLC was buried under everything else in the Batman DLC. Looks to be fixed now.

As for the actual DLC, I really enjoyed it. It was nice to dive back in and playing as a different character in the story gave it a fresh feel. The ending was a little disappointing, as the DLC really could just not exist and we'd still have as much insight into Batman's mental unraveling as we did at the end of AC, but for 10 bucks I was overall satisfied with the purchase.

Robins sticky mine things are pretty cool too. Would like to see more of him in the next one, with more interesting ways to use them (using it on the crane thing was great, but it was really the only unique place to use them).

dude you are right about this. finding shit on XBL now is a pain in the ass. most of the new release stuff is found front and center, but the entire design sucks and finding anything thats not a new release is like pulling teeth

Some people would ave ads show up on their dashboards for highly anticipated content, and some wouldn't have them show up at all. Some, like you, would have the ad but it wouldn't link to the content. And sifting through all the shit trying to find what you want is a pain in the ass.

So, I picked up my New Game + again last night, and fuck me Ras' ninja bitches are fucking TOUGH without the counter indicator (mostly because it is really hard for me to remember their tell for a regular counter or a yellow counter).

Also, I am one fucking campaign challenge away from 100%ing the Riddler shit for Batman. I don't even want to think about trying to do it for Catwoman or Nightwing (Robin doesn't seem to bad). The stealth challenges in this game can be a BITCH (where as I had no problem with them in Asylum but struggled with the combat challenges).

The dashboard blows dick. You're either constantly outright defending it or passively defending it with your "What do I care? I just boot up my game. I never pay attention to that stuff" bullshit.

I get it dude, the Xbox dashboard is perfectly fine and doesn't need a single improvement. It's fucking gaming nirvana!

I can't even imagine how tough some of the combos are in AC. I remember seriously struggling with the challenge rooms in AA. Now I understand you can incorporate your gadgets, like the batarang, into the combos. That's a lot of multitasking which I'm usually not good at in games.

What are you talking about? I have said more than once that I don't like the dashboard. You sound like a crazy person sometimes. Me not caring about the dashboard is not me passively aggressively defending it, it's me not caring about it. I'm sorry, I just don't. I haven't had as many problems as you have, and I don't find it particularly hard to work with, albeit a little clumsy sometimes. But the point I have always been steadfast in that you don't seem to get is that as long as it functions for me I'm fine with whatever they have. I am not a game journalist, so I thankfully don't have to waste my time evaluating how well it does whatever the hell it's trying to do.

I like to throw barbs at you over this because I think it bothers you a little too much. But if it does, fine. I've never said "How dare you hate the dashboard" I've only ever said I don't have nearly the same amount of problems as you do, and that, even if I did, I just wouldn't care about it as much as you do. How you find that as me supporting it is odd to me.

Off of that topic, have you even fucking played through this game yet? By the time you get to some of the DLC for this game there might be a new dashboard. Get with it Twiggles.

Stay around the edge of the group and do a lot of jumping when they start closing in. Try not to force moves either.

You could always incorporate your gadgets in combos, even in AA, just not to the level that you can in AC. In going back, it actually is a little more responsive in AA. AC has weirder shit (like ice grenades that feel like a combo breaker even when you land them right), and it makes it feel overwhelming, but it's honestly way easier because you don't need ANY of it. You are usually beset by so many dudes in AC challenges that as long as you're good at counters, blade counters, and paying attention to your combo takedown availability, you will get 3 medals on every combat challenge.

Or maybe this is the game that I'm actually pretty good at, because I just strung together a 115 hit combo in the Iceberg Lounge combat challenge...:smug:

Dude, I know. It's inexcusable. I fucking adored Arkham Asylum too. I don't know what it is. I started playing like the day it came out but ionly played like an hour or two and wasn't immediately sucked in for some reason. I haven't went back since. I'm thinking I'm going to pop it back in after I finish MP3.

But what happened with interrogating people? I remember reading stuff a while back saying that there was one thug in each group that you could save for last and them interrogate him on shit. How do you do that? I haven't seen any tutorials yet.

I haven't played the game since it came out, but the riddler thugs should glow green, and once they're the last thug, it automatically triggers the interrogation clip scene. This will give you the location of riddler trophies in the area (instead of the maps in AA).

I don't remember at what point they show up, I think it was after the church.

I'm definitely well past that part. Hmm, I definitely don't remember seeing any mention of them and the game does a pretty great job of explaining everything to you.

So I'm guessing thugs will repopulate areas if you take them all out without interrogating someone? And I guess there is no ability or upgrade late in the game like a sonar that helps you find all the trophies? I know you can mark the unreachable ones so that they will show up for you on the map. But besides that and interrogations, is that it?

I've been trying to do a really good job of scoping out ares before I swoop in, but I don't think I've been using detective mode that much while doing it. I'm guessing that's how they glow green?

I honestly don't remember if you need detective on for them to glow green, again haven't played since October. I'm waiting for the Collector's edition to go on sale before buying it again.

Thugs always repopulate, even after you beat the game, so you'll always have guys to fight. Have you been in any of the riddler challenge rooms yet? Maybe that's what triggers it. I know the first one was by the church for that. So maybe go look around there. I believe there's a wall you have to blow up to get to it.
