What I am seeing on youtube is the Burnley Tower Bug. I did not do this.

I did something else not this. I will stay away. I am sure a patch will come ASAP. I turned the nvidia physics on high last nite and it made a huge improvement to the game. :thumbsup: I am getting a solid 50-60FPS

Obvious spoilers, in spoiler tag. Don't open if you don't want to be spoiled:

 

The big plot twist revealed half way through the game is that the Joker kidnapped blackmask before the events of the game. The bounty put out on Batman's head was made by the Joker pretending to be blackmask. The joker is the big bad of the game, again.

Also midway through the game, the Joker is arrested and taken to Black Gate. He then meets Harley, and manages to convince her to release him. Mind you, this whole game takes place over one night. So Harley is corrupted in about five minutes time. :rofl:

So, I really don't think that this worked out so badly. Saw the "reveal" coming, but it comes pretty early, and the latter point is the dumbest thing to be mad about ever. Overall, so far this story has been much better than the much more over-the-top silliness of the first two games. Unless it really falls off, the writing has been more Dark Knight than lame comic book, and the voice acting (Batman and Troy Baker/Joker especially) has been absolutely top notch.

Finished tonight. Might be my favorite of the three games, storywise. Everything wraps up extremely well, without the need for anything too insane as far as the final boss fight (*cough* Venom Joker and Clayface *cough*). As far as any concerns that people like Gooby might have had, no need. It sums up without any continuity issues, outside of the fact that he would never have given up a sweet gadget like Deathstrokes grappel for something inferior.

Also, very awesome comic nerd reveal post credits, alluding to another game that might not be focusing on Batman at all. Hopefully someone here plays it so it can be discussed. Anyway, highly recommended. Would definitely say don't be like me and do all the side things at once when they come up. THey're fun, but I think that that was all that made me feel like things weren't really moving, because the story proper really gets going and doesn't slow up by itself, particularly in the last 2 or 3 hours.

The side stuff is cool, and in a lot of ways the only way to wrap up all of the villains, but if you get pinched for time, I'd come back to them later. I'd be curious how quickly the game could be beaten if you didn't do any side quests.

Too late, I played for probably 6 hours or so on Saturday just doing side shit. Wrapped up like 3 or 4 villains. Ready to get back to the main story, though.

Troy Baker has done a damn fine job here. His Joker is just flat out creepy at times. I love it.

B/c it's essentially the same as Arkham City just with a different story and villains. I loved City so that didn't bother me at all. I enjoyed this game.

It's 2nd for me behind City, but those crime scenes were an awesome addition to the game.

When your game reaches such a peak, you cant expect the next one to just revolutionize something that is already almost perfect. The leap from Uncharted 2 to 3 was small. The leap from Assassins Creed 2 to Brotherhood was small. The leap from Mass Effect 2 into 3 was small. Why does Origins get heat while the others do not?

Exactly. And what baffles me even more is the fact that this was coming from a brand new studio. I don't think anyone was really expecting a completely different game b/c of that.

Great question. Haters gonna hate I guess. Not only did it not to try fix what wasn't broken but it improved on nearly everything. The boss battles were better. Investigations were better. And the shock gloves OWNED.

I just started this game as well, having alot of fun with it. Not bad for a free title on steam. Friend got a video card that came with the game and he said he would never play it so gave it to me

 

took me awhile to beat deathstroke, was a bitch at least for me lol
