Agreed, I hated running a mile just to get killed by a fucking sniper.

Thats always been a battlefield trait though lol.

My main beef was the whole leveling up system from the rediculous amount of upgrades you get on guns to the batch of addons vehicles get. Its just too overwhelming and if you don't play an absolute shit ton its going to take you a long time to just rank up which causes problems when the majority of deaths are by a player having better equipment and not having better skill. It's one of the reasons I got away from the COD series and stick with games like Counterstrike for close up shooters.

I'll give the game props for looking and playing really good in the sense that the game engine is very well done but its the gameplay thats just awful and too frustrating to play.

That's why you play in squads with friends and spawn on them, or have a teammate throw down a spawn point.

Although I'm probably in the minority I doubt it. I pretty much hated BF3 and rarely play it because it just sucks.

I feel the same about cod but to each is own.

And i agree, bf3 is squad based. You jump in there trying to be CoD Rambo and you will get your ass handed to you

I think the big problem with these FPS games is that we have played so effing many of them....especially the modern warfare type.

33 FPS this generation. I only grabbed the notable ones as well...exhausting! Averages out to be almost 5 per year in the 6 year life cycle of the Xbox and almost 7 per year for the 5 year cycle of the PS3.

At least someone else appreciates WAW. I liked it just as much as COD4, it took some skill to play with the semi-auto rifles. I started to hate COD once the killstreaks expanded in MW2 like they did. It took all of the fun out of the game for me.

Most likely, but there will also be watered down versions for PS3/360 similar to BF3.

A pre-order poster has reportedly outed the release window for Battlefield 4. As posted by Chinese site Gamersky (via CVG), EB Games promotional material suggests that Battlefield 4 will be “available fall 2013” and that those who pre-order can receive a pair of dog tags.

Now to see about either getting the PS4 just for this game OR... getting the clipped version for the system I already own.
