I just started playing Hardcore mode... finally! I was a huge hardcore guy in the COD series since COD4 but had yet to try it on BF.

The counterknife concept is cool on paper, but it's utterly broken in BF4. I can't count how many times I either knifed a guy from behind only to get countered or a guy knifes me from the front with no counter prompt.

That's been around since at least Bad Company 2. Changing servers usually works, but occasionally the whole network is screwed up.

Premium is worth it if you enjoy this game. You'll get a bunch of good battlepacks when you first activate it. 2XP is going on right now although I think it ends soon. New camo on the 13th.




I know k/d ratio isn't a big deal in the grand scheme of battlefield, but I really wanted to get back to at least 1.0, will be climbing much higher from now on since I have gotten to know the maps better. Even better, my SPM has climbed significantly as well.

Hardcore mode has it's ups and downs. Most HC servers are full of snipers and campers though since you can't see where they're hiding. I at least would of liked for the camera to at least pan in the area where they are instead of not shot anything at all. That would at least eliminate camping a little bit. But as far as not being on the mini map :thumbsup:

Yea the fact that everyone snipes on Hardcore as made me switch to Normal, it got real annoying fast. At least now I get killed with a variety of weapons.

Just a couple of thoughts from my quest to unlock all guns and accessories. The Scout Elite is easily the worst bolt-action rifle in the game. Only five rounds per mag and weak as shit compared to the others. If you're going to snipe, use any of the others. The G18 is also the least user friendly pistol that I've used so far.

The only one of these bugs I ran into was the HMG blocking my view on the M1 Abrams. I remember thinking to myself why would anyone use this if you can't even see anything??? Glad it was just a bug now I can switch back.

Fixed problem with killer health in kill card not being correctly updated (showing 100% health even though the soldier was hurt)

Fixed issue with soldier health showing 1 HP in killcard instead of 0 HP
