Counter-knifing is easily the worst gameplay mechanic in the game. Cool concept, but utterly broken (along with other shit).

It's double xp for everyone this weekend, and if anyone doesn't know, those battlepack xp boosts will stack with it.

The SAR-21 in the Assault class is very friendly to newcomers. Stable and accurate.
I would play assault because you get the better guns and you can heal yourself.

If you are completely new, here are some main points you should know:

1. Play your class. Assault? Heal and revive people, it saves your team tickets.

2. Spot people when you see them no matter how far away they are. This is of utmost importance. You get points if someone kills them so why not.

The M416 is pretty newcomer friendly as well. Add a Muzzle Break and a grip and you have yourself a pretty damn reliable gun.

It really is. It still baffles me that they took out what was such a great feature in Bf3. It makes zero sense.
