Namath is incredibly over rated. He shouldn't be in the top 20.

Bradshaw is under rated to a certain degree. Bradshaw did alot for that team including calling his own plays. Only thing that hurts Bradshaw is his crying, and faking injury when performance wasn't up to par.

Favre has a ring, 3 MVPs, and countless records. Plus he's the ironman.

Elway owns.

Marino is uber.

However when it's all said, and done Peyton Manning should be recognized as the greatest QB to ever step on the field.

The Browns played in a league called the AAFC that was a rival league to the NFL in the 1940's. It was an 8 team league. The NFL absorbed the Browns and the 49ers from that league in 1950. The Browns promptly beat the defending NFL champion Philadelphia Eagles that year 35-0, I believe it was their first regualar season game.

I have a hard time rating guys I've never seen play, which would be 7 of the 11 quarterbacks you have listed. That being said, Joe Montana is the best quarterback I've ever seen. 4 Super Bowls and 4 Super Bowl MVPs puts him head and shoulders above anybody. And don't say "Oh he had Jerry Rice..". He wasn't there for his first Super Bowl and I think he was only a rookie for his second.

He owns every positive QB record etc.

Not putting him on the list makes the list bias and foolish on an intellectual football level.

While I agree that Favre should be on this list, owning every football record DOES NOT make him the GOAT. He broke Marino's records, so would you say he was GOAT before Favre? Durable, tough, and extremely talented, yes. For me, a quarterback that is the GOAT does not the 6 INTs in a playoff game.
