Best Video-Game Console of All Time?

Theres a trend in the best of all time for everything, older is always more popular. I say ps3 because of all the technology it has packed in and still has some awesome games. I don't say that just because im only 15 and wasn't in the "Super Nintendo Era".

I've played every one of those consols expect intellivision? I still think ps3 beats them all.

Sega Genesis easily wins by default. I grew up on a Genesis and me, my brother, and dad would play each other in Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter all day. Also, playing co-op with my brother on Streets of Rage and Golden Axe was nice shit. Don't forget all the Sonic games. I'm actually looking into buying another Genesis at the moment.

I would say the next best thing would be the Dreamcast. That was really a step up from the PS1 and N64 at the time. It had the best graphics for it's time and the best sports games. Too bad it failed lol.

Whether you believe it or not, it is because you are 15. Playing a Super Nintendo right now isn't the same thing as playing it 15 years ago.

Now you can play it and be like "this games fun, but I know what a PS3 can do and it's better". Back then there was no PS3, no 360, etc. You had your Super Nintendo and you played the shit out of Super Mario Bros and Duck Hunt all day long.

To a lot of people, it's more about the memories that the game system brings back (see my post above).

i went with 64. I would play Zelda for an entire day then the Mario games put it over the top. playing 60 turn games of mario party then switching to mario tennis on a rainy day was the best.

I played a little bit of super nintendo but not enough of it. I would also put gameboy color over 360 and ps3 lol. Pokemon red is ftw.
