McCrae wins the Veto and Spencer is apperantly going up as a pawn.

Not much really happened last night after I wrote my Hurricane Amanda thread, so I skipped the morning recap and now just doing the Saturday Updates thread. The house is already up and players have been picked for the vetocompetition:GinaMarie, Amanda, McCrae, Elissa, Spencer, Andy will be playing for the vetocompetitiontoday, but this is another challenge that means very little. The house would be fine with Amanda or McCrae going home, so regardless who wins, they’ll get their way. The only way anything could change is if they somehow convince GinaMarie to put Elissa on the block if one of them is removed. I don’t see that happening at all, so thiscompetitionisn’t really too important.With that said, I wonder if GinaMarie realizes she’s the Britney from BB12′s ‘Brigade’? Sure, Britney is prettier, funnier and had a much better personality, but 1 girl / 3 guy alliances don’t really seem to go very well for the girl in it. GinaMarie is doing one hell of a job playing for 4th place, but to her credit, that’s about 10 places higher than I expected her to finish. Just don’t expect to see her back in future seasons as acoach, that’s for sure.Time for some updates:10:20am– The Exterminators are up in the HoH discussing plans for the PoVcompetitiontoday. GM still has a bum foot so they don’t expect much from her, but they’re still working out an order to drop from thecompetitionbased on Amanda and McCrae.PS – Spencer and Judd are out of their chicken suits. Am I missing something? It hasn’t been 48hoursyet… isn’t that what Julie said the other night?10:35am– The crew talking about how dirty Amanda and McCrae have been this year.12:00pm– Feeds are down for the vetocompetition. I am trying to unclog my tub so I may be a little late when they return. Hope not1:45pm– Still on trivia. Good thing because I had to call a plumber. 2:05pm– Feeds are back, Amanda does not look very happy.

2:12pm– Sounds like it was a knockout type ofcompetitionbecause Amanda said ‘I don’t know why Andy kept picking me’. It sounds like Andy had toshowhis cards during thecompetition, so now they’re going to realize he’s flipped.It sounds like Spencer will be going up as a pawn because GM refuses to put up Elissa.2:30pm– Andy is going to explain why he kept picking Amanda during thecompetition. He said he just didn’t know what to do, he was scared, blah blah. If they believe him after watching what he did to Helen, they deserve to go home.3:00pm– Andy, Judd, Elissa and GinaMarie are all chatting. I can’t quite tell if Elissa is drunk or not.

CBS didn't have a choice but to eventually show it because the live feeders already were talking about it online. It would have just looked bad on CBS part if they tried to portray the house as happy and shit.

Anyway, before I went to bed, I listened to a very long and good conversation between McCrae and Elissa. Flashback to around 8:45pmto see the start of it all. The two sat outside by the pool and spoke about the future of the game. At first, I thought it was just two bored people having a conversation, but some lights started turning on in Elissa’s head during the conversation. She started to realize her final 3 / final 2 scenarios and it wasn’t looking very good against nearly everyone inthe house.Right before I went to bed, the two started to end their conversation, and a crazy thing happened, McCrae apologized for their behavior, and Elissa actually apologized back. If you haven’t been following the season too well, let me say that Elissa isn’t really the type to apologize for much, especially to McCrae or Amanda. During the night of McCrae’s birthday, Elissa was pretty mean to Amanda, and the next day Amanda had to apologize to Elissa for it. To actually admit she did indeed say mean things was probably pretty humbling to Elissa, and it likely openedthe doorfor what happened later in the night….(note: I know everyone will mention the mean things Amanda has said about Elissa this season. Nobody is denying that. Amanda said some awful things, but she’ll be the first to admit it. Elissa, while not nearly as nasty and blunt as Amanda, has said her fair share of mean things inreturn. That’s all I’m saying about that)After a few hours thinking about her actual position inthe house, Elissa decided she wasn’t going to play all summer to leavethe housein 5th place. She knows winning it all will be very tough with this jury, but she’d like to at least make final 2 or 3. The only way she can do that is by aligning herself with the two people desperate for numbers – Amanda and McCrae.Flashback to 12:39to see Elissa call Amanda into the cockpit and tell her that she’s going to vote for her to stay this week. Amanda is blown away by the sudden change of heart, they hug and she starts promising anything and everything as collateral to prove she’d be loyal to Elissa inreturn. They chat for a little bit before Andy pops in (shocker) and they tell him about the situation. He looks like he seen ghost and slowly backs out to let them continue talking.As of this moment, Amanda is thrilled because she thinks she’ll have Andy, Elissa and McCrae’s vote and will be safe this week, but the downfall of her game is going to bite her in the ass yet again. She is trusting that Andy will vote her way, but shortly after they worked him for the vote, he ran upstairs to tell his new alliance (The Exterminators) about the plan. Andy is going to vote out Amanda, it will be a tie, and GM will break it. Andy will then tell McCrae that Elissa was the one who flipped the vote, but I’m not sure he’ll believe it. The trust in Andy has been depleting at a rapid rate, and I’ll be surprised if they still count on his vote by Thursday.This gave The Exterminators plenty of discussion topics for their nightly meeting as they spent a good portion of the time bashing Elissa. On a serious note, it’s getting old how personal people are with Elissa’s attacks. Everyone seen the nastiness from Amanda on CBS, but whenever any group of people sit around to talk about Elissa, they go well beyond her game. People talk about how she married into money, has step-kids she never talks about, how old she was when she had her own son, her real age, etc, etc, etc.This should hopefully make for more exciting conversations on the feeds through the rest of the week, which is good because a person can only play so much Candy Crush while listening to Andy and GinaMarie talk non-stop about stuff nobody really cares about.PS – Before there are hundreds of comments aboutthe showbeing rigged for Amanda, please note that Elissa is the one who came up with this entire plan. Amanda has been becoming at peace with her exit this week.

It would only be fitting that she won seeing how bad the show was overall this season. I'm still rooting for spencer tho. He has a pretty quick wit and has been on the edge of elimination for awhile now.

After a seemingly boring week in the house, despite thelooming presence of Hurricane Amandajust offshore, things ramped up a bit out of nowhere. Flashback to 9:20pm(9/4) to see how it all went down.Amanda left her diary room session and joined the others in the kitchen as they were playing Jenga. GinaMarie mentioned something about the bedroom situation, and Amanda gave her a smirk/smile (taking a play out of Elissa’s book) and that was enough to flip GM’s lid. When I turned on the feeds to see them arguing, I was almost certain Amanda started it, but to my surprise, it was GM who freaked out and started taking the nasty shots first.The two pretty much let it all out at that point, taking low blow after low blow on whatever they can think of. Amanda took a lot of shots at GinaMarie’s craziness about Nick, while GM took a lot of shots at Amanda hopping into bed with McCrae when she had aboyfriendheading intothe show.The fight played out a solid 20 minutes before Amanda retreated to the bedroom crying, while GM mockingly shouted ‘Here come the waterworks!’. After stewing in the room for some time, McCrae finally went to join Amanda in the bedroom and she started going off on him for sitting there with a stone look the entire time. She wanted him to defend her, or at the very least try to calm the situation down, but he just sat at the table staring off into space.It’s hard to blame McCrae at this point considering he’s been trying tocoachAmanda into a less aggressive game, and even though she didn’t exactly start it, she could have just walked away instead of stooping to GM’s level. Amanda probably would have done herself some big favors if she sat there and took the shots from GM in front of swing votes like Andy. To take the bait all but sealed her fate for tonight’s live eviction
