I knew you were trolling, but I decided to feed you on this one. Again I say they were winning. It's not like the game was out of reach at that moment. The game was out of reach when Manning got predictable and Porter took it to the house

I read this on dot com and found it interesting that he paired Tebow and Orton. I don't think there is any doubt that Orton is the man this year and has looked great in the pre-season. Tebow doesn't start 16 games for at least two years.

Yeah that was a big question for me. I think he just doesn't really get football like he does basketball. Either that or he just thought the Platoon title was clever.

Tebow is being groomed as a real QB, right? So why would he rotate in for token plays here and there as a specialist? Orton is the starter until further notice.

The problem for the Broncos, is that although Orton may have put up respectable stats last year, it's clear the guy isn't the answer.

He has massive problems with most throws that you simply can not get away with at the pro level before being expopsed. What happened with Denver a lot last year, is everyone knows Orton can't complete anything long, so teams would take away the itermediate stuff, and let Orton dump off short garbo all day (a classic example is the New England game where Brandon Marshall had the worlds least effective 20 catch game ever). Dink, dunk, dink dunk. That's why he threw so few INT's, and why he had an artificially high completion percentage. To me, he's best served as a quality backup. You can't put Kyle Orton behind C in the NFL and expect him to take you anywhere.

For that reason, I think you'll see Tebow sooned than later. He has a winning intangible whether people want to hear it or not. Rothlisraper has it, too. They make plays, Orton throws 5 yard outs and loses games.

Yeah but Tebow's arm isn't much stronger. Agreed he has the leadership ability to be great but I don't know about his am.

Tebow has obvious issues, but i'd rather hitch my wagon to a guy who could be something special, than ride out Orton, who defines mediocrity and couldnt find a way to beat out Rex Grossman or get a 6-0 team into the playoffs.
