Braylon Edwards is whats wrong with athletes

I think you guys are underappreciating how bad Trent Edwards and the Bills playcalling is. I still think TO has it in him to be a playmaker, you dont lose that so quickly (he still had it last year, undeniable), and having a QB who isnt afraid to throw the ball more then 10 yards would definitely be of benefit for him. Hes on a one year contract and theres virtually no risk, I really dont see a down-side.

I still think Braylon has it in him to be a playmaker, you dont lose that so quickly (he still had it 2 years ago, undeniable), and having a QB who can throw the ball more then 10 yards would definitely be of benefit for him. Hes on a two year contract and theres virtually no risk, I really dont see a down-side.

If T.O gets traded to the Bears for a 3rd and 5th, would you be pissed at T.O for not trying harder to make things work in Buffalo?

How is this comparable to effort? I never said Braylon doesnt have it in him to be a playmaker, I said the guy flat out isnt trying. I never even said the Jets made a bad trade or that it was high risk. Infact, his performance on Monday was the inspiration for the thread.

I already said this in chat and ill say it again here.. I dont think TO falls in line with this because to me he actually looks like hes still trying out there, hes just not succeeding. What im asking for is effort.. im not going to call TO the hardest worker but I see some form of effort there when I watch the Bills weekly. That being said TO could easily just flat out stop trying in a week and id call him a piece of shit for that, too. But IMO TO WANTS the ball.. he WANTS to do well, I dont think Braylon could give a fuck if his team won, lost or drew in Cleveland aslong as he was getting a cheque.

First of all

How does dropping the ball have anything to do with playcalling? If you are dropping wide open catches (which he was) the playcalling clearly did it's job by getting the ball in your hands
