They have "Search and Rescue" now.

Basically Elimination with Kill Confirmed... which sounds awesome if you're willing to wait people out to see if they're willing to keep team spawns AND tags.

I imagine a lot of ADHD players will be screaming in the coming weeks due to "camping" and "haxx".

The new modes in this game have been awesome so far. Cranked is for the fast paced, run and gun folks. Hunted is for people that work really well in a team. Blitz is kind of a mix between the two. Really, really, great additions to the line up. Search and Rescue is just SnD with dog tags so it's even more team based.

More people were playing GTA V on my friends list. No where near the amount who were on Black Ops 2 last year. That said, I bet a lot of people are just waiting for next gen to play it.

This situation just looks like Activision being Activision. Toss in the sell-in numbers and claim you beat the other guy. I know that for Activision that's technically still a sale, but it'd be interesting to see what the actual numbers are of copies sold to consumers.

Last year for Black Ops II, I went to the midnight launch at Best Buy and arrived around 11:30. There were over 100 people already in line and that doubled by midnight. Monday night, my wife was out of town so I figured what the hell and went over around 11:00 to beat the crowd. There were 3 people there and only about 25 in line when the doors opened at midnight.

A lot of people are waiting until next-gen for games I would assume which explains that a little bit, but not all.
