Chances of Saints going undefeated?

Considering they've trailed 3 out of the last 4 weeks, to some average teams, I think they're vulnerable.

I like Minnesota over them in a playoff scenario, but we'll have to see what happens first.

Keep mind we're talking about one of the NFL's most tortured fan bases, a franchise that has 2 playoff wins all-time, 2. The Saints always find a way to let their fans down, then they all unload off the bandwagon for a few seasons.

This will be no different. They cannot stop the run, they turn it over a lot and they are ass on kickoff coverage. All of these things give the Vikings a favorable match up.

In sum, no they won't go undefeated and no they won't win shit.

Saints opponent records this season: 29-63

Their two "huge wins" over both New York teams were great timing, as both teams went through awful losing streaks during this period and just haven't been playing good ball.

They barely got by Atlanta and Carolina at home, and if they don't lose to either of those teams the odds they beat both of them, New England and Dallas is slim to none.

Saints are a good team, and have done a good job of beating teams they should beat, but that team is not built for a 16-0 season.

It even took a loaded Patriots squad a bunch of bounces (Indy/Baltimore/Philadelphia/New York Giants) to walk away undefeated.

Indianapolis has a much better shot.

yeah i see what youre saying but i mean we still won those games. I think we are going to drop a game nobody really expects. To say we are going to lose to atlanta who is falling off and carolina who hasnt done anything, while it could happen, I dont think it will. We could lose to NE, but dallas they barely got by the skins plus with a team like dallas it seems like they are hot then they fall off for some reason and then come back and dominate.

Its cool to see that even after going 10-0 people can still disrespect you. Even not being a Saints fan.. ima get a lot of pleasure out of watching a lot of people eat their words in terms of the Saints (and especially Brees) being a successful team, whether that means going 16-0, or winning in the playoffs.

Like people have said already, they won't go undefeated. They almost lost to the Rams who are one of the worst teams in the league right now. Did you see how Jackson raped their D? Carolina will tear them up on the ground.

I actually really like the Saints, but I personally don't think they're going to be undefeated. Additionally, I think that losing a game or more is a good thing. As long as you make the playoffs, I think going undefeated sets the stress level way too high.

Eh, who really cares? You can only win the games on the schedule. This isn't college where you can have some sort of a say. I never got the "respect" angle that fans want for their teams. There is no polling in the NFL. If the Saints win the Super Bowl, they're the champions and the best team that season. Whether or not they were "respected" is moot.

Hold Up now lets be honest I aint saying the Saints not a good team or nothing like that but they schedule is alot easier compared to Atlanta. Detroit, St.Louis, Both New York Teams at home. Dallas at home New England at home and yall caught Philly without McNabb. Not taking nothing away from yall but it may just be yall time.

LOL who cares about what it was going in? This isn't college, it's not like you have to defend the schedule, you didn't make it, the league did. Now just admit it's been a favorable set up (both NY teams at home, New England on MONDAY NIGHT, toughest divisional game on MONDAY NIGHT, and a backloaded road schedule that's full of cupcakes, including trips to St Louis and Washington)....Again, not blaming the Saints, just highlighting a contributing factor in their unbelievable start. It seems like they've already played 8 home games.
