True story, I played against Channing Crowder in high school and he was soft as a pop tart. We handled his team 17-6 despite us being terrible that year. He makes for some hilarious quotes though.

Ignoring the thread, my roommate played Brandon Graham in high school and he had a chance to blindside him, so he went to hit him and just fell back down. Dude was a rock.

Anyway, Channing Crowder is an idiot, it would be better if he were a really good linebacker. Pretty entertaining though.

He was a fucking pizza face as a high schooler. I was shocked when I met him how goofy looking he was. Curly hair, terrible skin, had braces at the time as well. If you put him in a line up back then and only showed from the neck up, you would have pegged him as the nerd who installed Counter Strike and Half-Life on all the school's computers.

Crowder has played less seasons in the league, and less games per season than Bart Scott.....yet his career stats aren't that far off from Bart Scott's.

I wrestled Jake Shields from Elementary school through H.S. and pinned him every time I played him. True story. Jake Shields is now one of UFC brightest stars and one of the best BJJ fighters in the world. All I'm saying is it's funny to me when I see peeps measure any pro-athlete with their HS success.
