College Football Week 2 Gameday Thread

K-State plays Tennessee Tech after they get beat down in Pasadena. I'm assuming they can pull that one out. After that, the only potential wins I see are against Iowa State in Kansas City, so that's kind of a home game, and Colorado at home. It's going to be a tough turnaround again for Bill Snyder if he ever even does turn it around in Manhattan.

I really have never sat down and watched K-State now that I think about it.

You're not missing anything. K-State hasn't been relevant in college football since '03.

The Pac 10 looks to be up this year with the exception of Washington State.

Cal, UCLA, and USC all look to be Top 25 material and maybe even better.

Stanford, Washington, Arizona, Oregon State, and Oregon are all good teams that could do some damage.

Will be interesting to see how many Pac-10 teams make Bowl games this year.

I like Butch and think he's a good coach...I actually loved the call to go for two. They had all the momentum, MSU couldn't stop their offense at all on that drive. However, I REALLY like LeFevour, Brown, and Anderson.

I'm not a big fan of Butch. I went to every home game last year, and I think his play calls held the team back. Too many QB options, too many plays that kill good drives. He does well with the athletes he has, Brown is one of the best utilized players out there. But other than that, there's not too much he offers.

Like I said, a user from another site I post at works as a journalist for OSU. He interviewed Pryor, McKnight and Carroll.

I can see where he's coming from though, we settled for field goals twice inside the five, and spotted them 7 points in the beginning with that near pick 6. We dominated the field position battle all night, and we honestly should've beaten them by 2-3 touchdowns if Pryor hadn't of shit the bed.

I understand that, but I mean almost every three plays, pretty much every set of downs he runs a QB draw or an choice.

But like you said, next year will be the year we find out how good he is.

You must have missed the "great team" part. No disrespect meant towards Wisconsin, but that program isn't even good anymore, much less great. Almost losing to Fresno at home is FTL.
