We're gonna let Dana's emotions decide these types of things? A knee to the face is a legit KO, Frank LEGIT KO'd Mirko.. whether or not the fight was terrible prior to that shouldnt be relevant. Frank's job is to go in and win (or as some of you put it, go in and FINISH), and he fucking did that. Maybe Dana shouldnt have set himself up to fail by having such a shitty main event in the first place. Its ok for Dana to have a lapse in judgement as to how to put together a successful card, but then he wants to punish Frank Mir for LEGIT KOing someone? Dana White gets awarded regardless of how bad the card is.

Frank Mir should be awarded regardless of how bad his fight was, because he indeed was the only person to earn the fucking bonus.

Its like a knee to the head wasnt a "good enough KO" for Dana. The fight should not matter.. Frank had the best fucking KO that night and there is ALWAYS a bonus given out for that, so this past Saturday should've been no different.

If it was "how it is", I would understand, because perhaps Dana would have done this before to set president, but to give out bonuses all the time and just randomly decide not to do it now because the main event, and the card as a whole, disapointed you just shows bitterness and terrible business sense.

The worst part about this for fighters is now in the future they will think they can legit get a KO and still not be awarded bonuses. As if these fucking guys dont have enough pressure on them from Dana as it is.

funny this guy never gets called out for doing an awful job hyping up PPV's that shoudn't be PPV's, him and Joe Silva putting on crappy main events and charging and selling them like they are gold

Dana gets a head of it and blames the fighters before they (the media) get a chance to go after him, and the damn MMA sheep media goes right a long with it

Inside of blasting Mir and Cro Cop, how about those 2 shouldnt be headlining a $50 PPV where 1 guy has been KO'd twice in his last 3 fights and Cro Cop is taking a paycheck with injuries and hasnt been in his prime for years

The bonuses are to reward the fighters for putting on good performances. So why should Mir be rewarded for that performance?

No one ever said these bonuses were guaranteed, these aren't in anyone's contract. It's a SUBJECTIVE incentive given out by the UFC at their own will. Putting on a bad show, despite the KO, is contradictory to what the bonuses are actually for.
