There is a cap on how much money you can hold and auction slots and bank slots and shit. Bunch of things like that. Think like The Old Republic's free access caps.
 
I don't know if it's the latest update or just coincidence but I'm having a lot better luck with my downloads/installs. This game finally downloaded. I'm hoping to check it out in the next few days.
 
Alright so I made it out of the ship as a flying/martial arts/earth power superhero. Anybody have any basic tips that would be helpful?
 
Someone will eventually read this. So since I turned level 30 I figured I had to gear myself up. This is where I found the Combat Rating stat.I learned this is pretty much like the NBA's PER. The single stat based on all your gear that determines what you are able to access. When I 1st reached level 30 my rating was somewhere around 29. I immediately went into Alerts(Instances) and Duos(2-player Instances). These give you a form of currency called Marks of Triumphs. Use these to obtain set pieces from vendors. After doing enough of these Instances(About a weeks worth of dailies) I eventually got enough Marks to upgrade all of my gear. My Combat Rating is now 42. 40 is the mark to get into your 1st raid. Shit was INSANE. 2 hours of non-stop fucking craziness bro. When my taxes come in I am definitely buying a years subscription to get rid of all the caps.
 
Ok, so I think this is the issue I ran into when I tried downloading the game last year. Upon first starting it up it says "Checking game assets" and a progress bar loads, but it only takes about 30 seconds. Then another progress bat pops up saying something about loading a 16.000 MB of data and the shit takes forever. What is the deal with this shit?

Khandaq is still my favorite raid. Wait until you try Inner Sanctum. There are people in tier 4 gear that still cant complete it.
