10. Alonzo Harris, Training Day

EDIT: I did something I rarely do: have a change of heart on a list I put together. I had totally forgotten about one guy and felt I overrated Mary Jones from Precious (though she's still an excellent villain). I essentially replaced her with the guy at #5.

My favorite joker quote which sums him up is his speech to Two Face while hes in the hospital,

Mulholland Dr - didn't really like this one, I think we spoke about this on MM, "only" watched it twice & it'll probably take at least 2 more viewings to swing me around.

American Splendor
Ghost World - somehow never got around to either of these (I swear I almost watch American Splendor every couple months but something always comes up).

Catch Me if you Can - very good pic, should've prob had it an HM for '02

Before Sunset
The Lives of Others - two more I never got to; The Lives of Others has gotten the same treatment as American Splendor from me. I know I'm gonna get to them, just don't know when.

Donnie Darko - I always thought it was good but way overrated.

Amores Perros - THANK YOU! Here's the story: It was initially on my top 10 list of 2000 then when rearranging that list I made a typo & omitted it, putting Gladiator twice. By the next day, when another poster pointed it out to me, I fixed that issue but didn't have the notes I was using in front of me & forgot what other movie was on the list, so I went & grabbed Men of Honor, stuck it in the #10 slot & forgot about it. I've now re-edited to fix my mistake & AP is at #7 for that year.

Shaun of the Dead - Saw it only in bits and pieces, never sat through it from beginning to end, so I couldn't accurately say how I feel about it. I'm getting there, too.

10. Iron Man

Of your heroes, I haven't seen The Departed Or Wolverine (but I have seen the good X-Men movies and #3, so it's all good ), but I like your list.... Though my order my be different.

Dell, you know I love you. This was an excellent read, going through each year I could remember exactly where I was when I saw certain movies, both physically and the stage of my life that I was in.

Good shit, or should I say, typical Dell.

I take it you haven't seen The Room yet? If you had, it would have easily topped your So Bad It's Awesome list, because there's no other way to describe it. It's been called "The Citizen Kane of Bad Movies", but I prefer to think of Citizen Kane as "The Room of good movies".

As for your top 25, I really can't disagree with any of it, at least the ones that I've seen. My top five would probably be Oldboy, City of God, Children of Men, Memento and Departed in some order. Oddly enough, I've never seen Requiem for a Dream despite owning 3 copies (girlfriend's mom is in mental health and she confiscates f'd up movies from her druggie clients).

Guess I should get on that, as well as the rest of these I haven't seen.
