I'm still trying to figure out if it is 4 player co-op like Borderlands or it is limited to 3 for the story/exploring etc. 3 is just such an odd number for co-op but from what I've been reading, it looks like 3.

I started playing Wolfenstein a few hours ago and about twenty minutes in I had an error message pop up saying PSN was undergoing maintenance.

Could you imagine if PSN was fucked all weekend? LOL.

I'm pretty disappointed after playing that tid bit. Most of you will say "It's just an Alpha!" Give me a break. It's a fucking demo. The game releases in LESS THAN THREE MONTHS. Alpha my ass. The game is so Halo it's pretty embarrassing. Try to step out of your comfort zone Bungie. Christ. Everything from the jump, the reload animations, the gun recoil to the Guilty Spark wannabe. Speaking of which, I hope that isn't the final game voice. So terrible. The story hooks and mission parameters are so cheesy too. "The hive hasn't been seen on this planet in hundreds of years. The wizard must've brought them here. I thought we banished them to the moon?" What. The. Fuck?
Maybe the final game will be loads better. I hope so because I have high hopes for this game.

Looking forward to the first two weeks playing this w/ you too, Twigg.

While it might be a "demo," it is a decent taste of what's to come for the game w/ getting loot, surviving impossible encounters and having fun co-op'ing w/ people.

We only got to see two areas, plus free-roam and some MP... there's SO MUCH MORE IN-STORE and then there's GOTTA BE some DLC afterward.

This Alpha's only a bite out of the whole apple here so cool your jets before losing your shit over an unfinished game, duder.

I also wonder if the people that seem to be so in love with it would feel the same way if Bungie's name wasn't on the main title screen? If ABC Developer made this no one would give a shit. It would just be a mediocre new gen offering.
Like I said already, please don't fall for the Alpha shit. They're just giving you a small slice of a game that is damn near close to being done. By the time the 'Beta' releases in a month from now they'll almost be at the point of pressing the discs.

And that you haven't even taken the time to try it which makes that feeling worse.

You've never owned a Halo box, so I'm guessing Twigg's assessment wouldn't make much sense to you either way.

Also, as someone that has fought Twigg about his negativity, I don't think that his being negative about this indicates 1) that he won't give it a fair shot; or 2) that he won't buy it either way.

So that also answers you last point about him trying the alpha. He's going to buy this shit either way. The dude bought and liked Medal of Honor for crying out loud.

How haven't I given it a chance? I played it last night. I didn't play the mp because I honestly don't care much about that. I played through the mission where you have to take down the 'wizard' which was ultra lame. The narrator was irritating at best. Bastion narrator he was not.
It just seemed so basic. Nothing stood out about it at all. If this was Spider Games developing this, people would just be saying it was a FPS Bound By Blood. Is it terrible? Of course not. But there wasn't a single thing in there that really impressed me.
And please don't try to say I went into this hating on it. Go back a few pages and see my response to Stevsta. But now after playing it, it looks like he was correct in his observations.
