However you have to remember, a lot of people don't want to see this at all, and could see it's inclusion in a primetime sports program (that should have no business being involved in social commentary) as a slippery slope. Where else on primetime tv are you going to see a gay kiss? Yes Modern Family has a gay couple, but if I remember correctly they didn't even kiss in the first season. It was something the show and the audience had to work it's way up too. And if two dudes kissing wasn't your cup of tea, you had plenty of time to find a different show.
