It's early in his career, but his numbers are great. Tops all time in Yards Per Attempt. 65% Completion %. (Tops) The highest career QB Rating in the league.(That was for you Jake) Holds numerous Dallas Cowboys passing records including Yards Per Game, Touchdowns in a Season, and 300 yard games.Not to mention Romo has the 2nd Highest QB Rating in the league since he became a starter, and Romo has the best 4th Quarter QB Rating in the league since he became a starter. But I guess it's all nullified by his 0-2 playoff record . Even though Dallas was horrible the season they lost to Seattle on a dropped snap and he was the reason we were there in the first place. Oh and that season when we were good enough to skip the first round of the playoffs but lose to the SB Champs.

Eli Manning was regarded as a bust untill he won a SB. Romo will be the same way. No one will remember how good the Steelers D was, but they will know Big Ben has 2 rings. Same with Eli.

So Peyton would have been a bust without one? I don't think Manning winning a superbowl changed anything . He never got better or worse with it in my eyes . He was always the best/2nd best qb in the league . He didn't need a superbowl ring to proove that

Of course I am happy he got it though

I do beleive some responsibility comes on the QB however , you see guys like Phillip Rivers and he just acts , looks and plays like a Winner out there . Then you see Brees (nuke) , Cutler and co who don't exactly fill you with faith in the clutch

the steelers most defining trait is their defense... without using nfl.com or google, tell me quickly how many mvp's (super bowl or regular season) terry bradshaw has? the stats will also say they won those with the steelers, giants and pats. i just dont know how to to tell you this... but saying people will forget the steelers D form this year or any other year is just fucking stupid.

i dont think the '72 dolphins are knows because of the QBs to play the season they went undefeated (griese got hurt, earl morral came in and replaced him for the regular season)
