Big Ben...yes he win's but is this going my statistics or wins? If Stat's, defiently not. If this is going by win's. Tom Brady should be #1.

Kurt Warner isn't top 5, may not be top 10. And Rivers shouldn't be #3.

It was off the top of my head. Lookin' at it now, I kinda see a lot of flaws. I would have to actually look up everybody and see them on a computer, not just trying to think of qb's.

But I do think Drew Brees is the best STATISTICAL qb in the NFL. Tom Brady 2nd. And obviously Peyton 3rd. I think I would put Rodgers down a little bit to about 6 or 7. Matt Ryan, I kind of lol'd at that one my self. I guess, I am kind of "predicting the future" on that one. Tony Romo I think is a good qb, if he stays healthy. Kurt Warner... He should top 6-10. Not top 5 though.

Drew Brees is the best statistical QB without a doubt. But definately not the best QB. Not Top 5, he has no leadership whatsoever. He doesn't have the "Jordan Effect" like Manning and Roethlisberger.

Really? I don't watch much of Brees. But everytime I see him before the game, he is the guy in the middle of the huddle, chanting and getting his team pumped to play? I would think that is showing a little bit of leadership. Although, he doesn't show the leadership of Brady. But he is still a top 5 qb in the NFL man. His stat's are just insane, where you can't even look past them. If his team can make the playoffs, no doubt is a top 3 qb.

Exactly. Brees is pretty much the opposite of a leader. He doesn't will his team to victory late in the game. He doesn't make those around him better. At the end of the game, when in trouble, he only looks for his first read. At this point, it won't matter how impossible it is for a completion, he's going to try to get that guy the ball.

Dalton has by far the best list on here, especially since all of you are too pussy to go into any kind of detail on his top 10 other than Drew Brees. Who you're complaining about record wise when his teams have been half as good as both Brady's and Manning's.

Peyton Manning actually took over the 29th ranked defense and lead them to a 13-3 record the following season. He didn't exactly take over a fantastic football team. He just makes them a better football team.

Didn't he win the superbowl with the 21st ranked defense?

Again, I might be off on those numbers, but they weren't exactly the Baltimore Ravens.

Brees is at one , clearly because of stats reasons only . There can be no other reason to have Brees at one

Peyton Manning , the three time and reigning MVP at three . Who also has better stats than Brees over his career (he didn't last season but yet still won MVP) . Warner at 10 , this once again , makes no sense following the "stats matter" theory he had to have been going with when he put Brees at one . If Brees is at one for stats then Warner must be a top 5 quarterback right? two time mvp .... in the MVP talks last season , led a shitty franchise to the sb . Has been in MVP contention every year he started more than 12 games .

I could also argue a few more but I thought I would leave that there

I just thinking putting Brees at 1 for "stats reasons" makes his list seem very bad as he doesn't follow the pattern all the way down.

No, they weren't a fantastic football team, but they still had a lot more talent than Brees has ever had to work with with the Saints. Brees was not that bad with the Chargers either. It was a bad fit for him there, him wanting to throw deep a lot and the Chargers wanting to play smash-mouth football, but he still took them to pretty good records every year with a less talented team than the Patriots and the Colts had. Remember this Chargers O-Line was awful when Brees played for them. He had absolutely no receivers, and the defense wasn't half as good as it was after they got Merriman, Weddel, etc.

And didn't the defense force a fumble on Jarome Bettis on the goalline in order to win that game in the playoffs? And weren't they also the #1 ranked defense statistically in the NFL in that playoffs?

I'm not saying Brees should be #1, I have Manning at #1, but it's not so ridiculous to have him that high. I'd have him #2 right now.
