Since some folks don't believe that EA is credible, Infinity Ward said the same thing at E3...
The Xbox 360 has so many good looking titles to be excited about this year, such as Modern Warfare 2, Mass Effect 2 and Left 4 Dead 2 (I swear I didn't mean to make it all sequels). These titles are a big draw for 360 fans, but it may seem that developers are reaching the graphical limits of the 360. Both EA and Infinity Ward gave interviews mentioning the limits of the 360 over E3.
Speaking to Official Xbox Magazine at E3 last week, Patrick Soderlund, Senior VP of EA Games Europe said:
I do think that we'll see developers inside the organization getting to understand the PS3 better and I think that we're getting more power out of PS3 right now... I think that we've maxed out the 360 but we haven't maxed out the PS3...
Upon realizing that this may not go over so well with "Official Xbox Magazine", Soderlund partially recovered with:
I like the Natal, that's cool. It's an interesting device, so I'm truly impressed by Xbox. It's my personal favorite console... I think Microsoft is on a roll right now. They're doing really well. If I was Sony, I would have a headache, to be honest.
Regardless of Soderlund's flip flop opinion of the 360, Infinity Ward's Mark Rubin has similar sentiments when talking with VG247.
We always push to the upper limits, it's just a matter of working around them at this point. Having to squeeze more blood from that stone. We added texture streaming now so that we can have a much bigger world, and we can stream in super high detail textures for the area close in proximity to you. And the rendering engine has been redone.
Knowing that this generation of consoles will be around for while, developers may have to get more creative, at least when it comes to designing a graphics heavy game on the 360. Only time will tell if more impressive graphics will come of the 360, but at the moment, it looks like the 360 may be hitting a wall.

Speaking with VG247 at E3 this week,
Infinity Ward’s Mark Rubin said that Modern Warfare 2 leaves the Xbox 360 winded and gasping for breath. At this point, he noted, it’s all about finding little tricks to squeeze more power out of the aging machine.
“We always push to the upper limits,” he said. “It’s just a matter of working around them at this point.

To be frank, if the Xbox was sweating, we couldn’t tell when we saw it in LA yesterday. Modern Warfare 2 looks amazing. Game’s out in November. We never knew we had this much drool.
