Another divisional match-up, should be a good series. They said this morning that Bryz was 3-0 with a 0.29 GAA and 2 shut-outs vs the Devils this year, hopefully he can keep that going!

Flyers started to sit back with a 1 goal lead and the Devils decided to bum rush Bryz sending multiple players to the net like kamikaze pilots. It was pretty awesome to watch them just crash the net with reckless abandon and score but it's because the Flyers stopped attacking.

Watching the playoffs this year, I am amazed at what the Philly players get away with. Skating directly into the goalie, headbutting players in the face after the whistle, yanking sticks out of other player's hands, etc. In the Pittsburgh series, a Penguin goal wasn't counted because right before it was scored Hartnell skated directly into his own goal and knocked it off its moorings.

That said, I dislike the Penguins and Canucks far more than I dislike the Flyers right now, but I'm finding myself rooting for the Devils for some reason even though I wanted to see a Flyers/Kings final a week ago.

When did they run directly into the goalie? In game 2 Brodeur got hit a lot but it was his own teammates running into him. The Penguins pushed the net off for a Flyers goal too but it counted because the puck went into the net a split second before. I don't care at all if you guys hate the Flyers but you act like they're the only team in the history of sports to do stuff like that.
I really thought the Flyers were the better team coming into this series....definitely wrong, they're getting their shit pushed in 5-on-5 and haven't made any adjustments to the Devil's high pressure style.
Mine is more so the fan base. They are really turning into bruins fans with their dumbness sometimes.
I'm just waiting for flyers fans to come in and defend that giroux hit lol. The guy is a huge whiner and a cry baby. He should be suspended for a couple games but knowing the NHL they will just give him a $2500 fine.

Interesting game last night. I think Brodeur is shaky, but NJ was able to come back after giving up a couple early goals. They really dominated the game for long periods of time. Philly appeared to lose their shit and keep taking penalty after penalty, which kind of killed their comeback chances (even though they did a good job of penalty killing). Hartnell skating into Brodeur from behind (really?) and getting yet another goalie interference penalty...Giroux pulling a Raffy Torres and launching himself into the face of a Devils player well after the puck had gone...typical Flyer goonishness. The most frustrating thing to me was how after every stoppage in play the refs had to go over to the Flyer bench and explain everything to their dumbass coach. Drop the puck.
Didn't get to watch the game (Avengers called me) but I'm not shocked. New Jersey has been outworking Philly the entire series.
