I'm not 'catching feelings' at all, but if you're gonna point out the cheap shit that one team does point it out for both.

Maybe I should go back to the Pens/Flyers series and see how many times you pointed out all the shit the Flyers did after pointing out all the things the Pens did.

Fine, you're gonna bitch about Simmonds boarding someone? How about Volchenkov boarding Voracek minutes before? And about the Flyers cross checking people in the back fighting for the puck along the boards, ALL players do that, if you think only the Flyers do you then you haven't watched very much hockey.

I didn't bring up Volchenkov boarding Voracek, because minutes later Volchenkov got taking out by a charging Rinaldo. If Volchenkov's hit was borderline, then Rinaldo's hit on Volchenkov was even more borderline, because Rinaldo wasn't really involved in the play. He changed directions and took three strides into Volchenkov after the puck had been played on. I figured the Rinaldo hit evened things out, but after that it was Philly playing the goon role again.

I'm no hockey expert, but this isn't rocket science. I watch the games and comment on them. Perhaps you should do the same.

The Flyers were outplayed, outworked, and outcoached. When the Flyers got down, they tried to bait the Devils into penalties, which any NHL team would who was getting beaten as bad as the Flyers were, and the Devils showed poise and continued with the gameplan the Flyers had no answer for. I thought Bryz played well at certain points. but overall he was average which is not going to win a series, especially when getting as outplayed as the Flyers did.

I thought the series was pretty clean until game 4 when Giroux took that cheap shot. And contrary to popular belief, things like that have been happening throughout the playoffs, not just with the Flyers.

I don't remember claiming that the Flyers were the only team pushing the envelope with physical play. I do remember saying that the Flyers goon it up more than other teams. I didn't even think I was making a "claim", moreso than just pointing out an obvious fact. The goonishness worked against the Pens and got them off their game...it didn't work against NJ and actually cost them because of the amount of penalties they were taking.

Leave it to the Flyers fans to dispute this fact. Great work.
