Eastern Conference Finals: Chicago Bulls vs. Miami Heat

I'm still sticking to my Bulls in 6 prediction, even after last night's thumping is a huge confidence booster. I think the main difference in this series isn't the matchups, but the coaching. Thibs has the Bulls so much more disciplined then Spoelstra has the Heat. The Bulls doubled the Heat in rebounding, assists, and nearly halved them in turnovers. That is evidence of a more disciplined basketball team.

If Miami gets bounced by the Bulls, is there any way that Spoelstra comes back next season? This team has had a circus-like atmosphere all season and Spoelstra is not the guy to play the ring leader.

Rose is the MVP for a reason, and he happens to have use of both of his arms. The Bulls were wise enough to hold onto Noah instead of dangling him as trade bait for some high-impact shooting guard. Unlike with Boston, Chicago’s big man — the guy with the paint presence and burst of energy and effort that so impacts this Chicago team — actually remains on the team

Miami can win Game 2; of that there’s no doubt. perhaps Spoelstra, who went small much of the night even as his team got dominated on the glass, will figure out it’s a little late in the season to be trying a trial-and-error approach with his rotation.

Game two will be interesting, I still dont feel safe as LeBron will probably try and set the pace early.

I watched Survivor with my wife in the family room and had the game on mute in my game room and watched it through the dooeway because I literaly got that puke taste in my mouth during the first half. I also had my good luck charm with me from the mid-second quarter until the end of the game. It was with me the entire game 6 vs the ATL.
 
I honestly just dont see what can change. Like Chuck said last night after the game. Ernie asked him what the Heat could do differently? He said unless they trade for Dwight Howard before Wednesday....Nothing. I agree, no amount of milk will help them grow, and all the bigs the Heat have any suck.

Deng shot well from 3, Boozer was very active, but otherwise it was a typical Bulls performance. I thought Miami played bad moreso than the Bulls played well, so its funny to me that now the Miami apologists are saying "the Bulls won't play that well for the rest of the series", as if the Bulls shot 65% from the field.

And if I had forgotten Bennett Salvatore's ridiculous call in the last series and was thinking the NBA wasn't fixed and David Stern wasn't the most corrupt person in sports, last night the Miami Heat were allowed to play with 6 players on the floor!

Haslem is actually a very good defender and enforcer, but he's coming off an extended injury so he's being babied into the line-up... If he is feeling healthy and gets his time then he could be the key to the series, he was a big part in the '06 Finals for the Heat he's not a big numbers guy but brings a lot of toughness on defense... and LOL at the "sky is falling" "This is over" comments... this thread is heavily populated by Bulls fans... I'm honestly not worried every single person int he world KNEW that the Bulls would win big at home right after an emotional win over the Celtics, a let down was coming... and better off now as a wake up call.

Still concerned about tonights game though. We can really put a strangle hold on this tonight. I dont care if we win by 1 or 21 again. Let Bitch go for 30 again as Wade and James are kept in check again. Keep the Big 2 1/4 to 72 and we win again.
