How many times do I have to say that I DON'T blame Favre alone for the playoff losses. He didn't lose those games on his own. What we should be blaming Brett is for those horrible decisions and playoff game ending ints that ended any chance of GB winning those playoff games. That's not unfair, it's just accurate.

I've got to be honest, I knew he only played in 1 playoff loss, but I wasn't sure what I would find when I pulled his stats. Unreal for any timeframe, much less the 1960's..

A question that's usually asked in GOAT QB debates, is if you had 80 yards and 2 minutes to play, which QB do you take?

You'd have to be a complete fucking moron to take Brett Favre in this spot. There's at least 10 QB's that come to mind I would take in this spot before even considering Favre.

Smart, clutch QB play is not his strong suit, yet is vital to winning, which is everything in football.

I would have Brett in the top 2 All Time even with GB losing those playoff games if Brett didn't have those playoff ints. And the playoff game ending ints go beyond the two NFCC games.

Otto? As a QB maybe....As a football player yes. He did play defense too. Starr only played on offense. Oh those tricky 40's-50's QB's that also played DB. I think he had a year or two with around 5 ints on defense. Gotta love Otto.

Not sure what you're trying to prove with this. He had a couple of bad games against one of the best defenses in NFL history then had a rare choke against the Vikings in a season most consider to be the best 49ers teams statistically in NFL history in '87. Manning and Brady had bad games, they just weren't in succession. They were spread out with some good games between the bad ones.

Brett Favre is synonymous with INT.
I cant imagine anyone picking him as there playoff QB. Worst great QB Ive ever seen in big moments. A decade of consistently screwing his team over for no reason other than him trying to show off his arm. Many of those games the INTs were absolutely needless throws.

No clue how Starr would do but Id pick him in "one game" or "one drive" situation based only on my inability to imagine how any big name QB could do worse when his team needs him most.

At least Marino had the dignity to throw his picks in the 1st and 2nd quarters. GB fans had to endure his one man exits over and over. I dont care whether or not his teams were good enough. Not an excuse. Your teams good enough to get you swollen regular season stats and a playoff game theyre good enough to keep you from throwing bad passes against many of the same teams you faced earlier that year.

Favre is a top 15 all time QB no question not taking away from his MVPs and 90s performances.But if you ranked the top 20-25 all time...and let me pick who I want to lead my guys in a big game. Favre would likely be dead last.
