I love how quick the media are to call out Chelsea fans for not crediting Rafa with his subs Sunday, as if it takes some savvy to bring on two of your three best players. Mikel was the real difference maker, sitting back dominating the midfield, giving Ramires free reign forward, which he's never had when paired with Lampard (another check in the con column for re-signing Lamps).
Rafa was just correcting the mistakes he made with his initial selection. Why he gets praised for getting it right for only 40 of the 90 minutes is beyond me.

Them wanting their Chelsea back just means a Chelsea without Rafa. In the 7 years before Roman, Chelsea finished 4th, 6th, 6th, 5th, 3rd, 4th, and 6th.
Also annoys me how the media love to call out a fanbase for being fickle, and yet when Chelsea supporters don't change their tune from the very start, along with the development that Rafa is a shit manager, they still blame the support for the team underperforming. Bunch of twats.

The fact that Chelsea won the CL completely validates not being that good in the league, you can't acknowledge one without the other. Di Matteo rotated heavily in the league games near the end of the season. Like against Arsenal (Bosingwa, Bertrand, Essien, Romeu, Malouda, Sturridge, Torres starting), Newcastle (Bosingwa, Bertrand, Essien, Malouda, Sturridge, Torres starting), and Liverpool (Ferriera, Bertrand, Essien, Romeu, Malouda, Torres, Sturridge starting).

You weren't very good in the beginning of the season either if I recall correctly. Also, please reread some of the names of those players you listed. Not exactly bottom of the barrel.
Also, I can't believe you're honestly ripping on Rafa for making good tactical subs and forcing a replay. Managers get initial tactics wrong all of the time, thats why you've got subs, to make it right. In fact one sign of a good manager is knowing when to say this isn't working and make necessary changes rather than stubbornly holding out.
You could say that subbing is something Rafa is known well for seeing as his tactical judgments and subs at half in Istanbul helped lead to the greatest comeback in the history of soccer on the biggest stage in club soccer.
