Ryan O'Byrne vs Brad Stuart

This isn't so much a fight as some bush league crap out of O'Byrne. Nice clean hit before the fight.

O'Byrne got 10 instigator misconduct, 5 for fighting, 2 for instigating and 2 for instigating-facemask. Anyone know WTF this "facemask" penalty is? You can't give the "Dirty Pierre" (facewash) anymore??? Oh and if I remember right, 10 minute instigating misconduct carries a 1 game automatic suspension.

Come on now, you have to invoke the timeless argument that without goons Gretzky would have been disabled. That's Landeskog, it's a clean hit but that's Colorado's superstar right there. In the regular season, the Avs will gladly take 100 minutes protecting their star player.

Gretzky would have had his head up. Clean hit, I am getting tired of fights breaking out after a clean hit, it's bush league.

And I am the biggest supporter of fighting, take it out and you ruin the game. But seriously, the old days, they would fight after a dirty hit not every hit.

Orr vs Rupp

I think I am one of the few that thinks this was a draw or edge to Rupp. Rupp got most of the punches in and I can't see what Orr did to put him on his knees or if he slipped.

Lucic vs Gleason

I almost want to give this fight to Gleason. It's a draw though. I don't understand how Lucic can handle Carkner one night and then go draw with Gleason. He must have been at the end of his shift, he just never got it going.

Carkner's had his head pounded in so many times he's kinda useless these days.

Anyways Mike Brown had a double whammy on this one.

Hurt Kaleta which I'm sure is breaking everyones heart then goes at it with Weber. Toronto ended up with a Powerplay after this :yao:

I found it WOW fucking KO, old tyme fight. This isn't tolerated anymore, probably should have stopped when he started falling.
