A couple of points....

-There is money in Lesnar/Mir 3. Not yet, though. The beatdown is too fresh in people's minds.

-As for the bold...people complain about pro wrestling antics from Brock, but as i've been saying for two days now, using fake heat to build a fight has been done in MMA from DAY FUCKING ONE, and it comes directly from pro wrestling. Brock wasnt fake on Saturday. He talked his shit, wouldnt touch gloves, kicked Mir's ass, and talked more shit.

If anyone is phony pro wrestling, its guys like Nick Diaz, Tito Ortiz, and Floyd Mayweather, who make themselves fake heels to build heat, than kiss and make up aftterwards. They take your $50, they play you for marks, they do phony "pro wrestling"...Brock is just being himself-a giant dickwad. But a genuine giant dickwad.

true, but in MMA it has always been knid of an unwritten rule that after its over you show some sort of respect, the sport has built on that sort of thing unlike pro wrestling where you keep the act going

I have no problem with the post fight interview, pretty funny actually, but after you beat the guy you usually let it go, brock just kept it up

the sub win never gets the respect of the casual fan, I just wish that they wouldnt break it up and than the people could see what happens when you dont let go of a sub...

Maybe they should have Murr break Lesnar's leg the first time like he did to Maine-iac's arm.

I have zero interest in this fight. None. At all.

Carwin/Cain winner should be next in line, because it's a superstar making match if they win. I talked about that in another thread.

If Randy beats Nog, I can see them doing Brock/Randy II, because coming off this past weekend it would be the ultimate face/heel dyanmic and do a monster number.

I just don't see any business upside to Brock/Nog.

He has improved but to say he's improved dramatically is over exaggerating; his stand up game is still suspect. All he did this time was show sub def - other than that all he did was lay on the guy, wrist control and pound him out - something he did in his first fight with Mir... Up until he got caught.

Couture also exposed him in the stand up & would've had him on his back if it weren't for the elusive cage kung fu grip.

Series tied 1-1...there is a need for a 3rd fight.

Mir beat him in a minute and a half...Brock abused him in the second go around.

btw - Big Nog, if he's not the old schlep he looked like v. Mir, and he's the Big Nog that we all love on his back in the guard...I like that match up and would love to see what Lesnar does against the grisled veteran.

I dont have a belief that every fight will be the same.. 2 fights have gone the same way with these same two fighters. The first time Brock made a dumb mistake and got caught.. not discrediting Mir, but it happened. 2nd time.. Brock clearly showed that hes a smarter fighter, was a lot more calm, didnt leave himself open, etc.. and actually finished the job he should've finished in the first fight. What makes you believe Mir has anything to change that a third time? Wheres everyones sense of reality when it comes to Brock Lesnar? I hate having to defend guys so hard like this.. within the last 2 brock convos you say he KO's randy just like the first time and now beats down Mir the same way

I am not knocking Brock, I just am not calling the guy the best HW in the world or favoring him over every fighter

He beat Frank Mir, Frank is not an elite HW, Frank has been destoryed by Iam Freeman, Brandon Vera and Marco Cruz, Frank can pull off a nice win, but no one puts Mir in the top HW ranks

Randy as much as I love him, he has never been a dominate fighter, he has been KO'ed out of the LHW division, he is more of an inspirational story, wins some, losses some, is like 16-9 and is 48 coming off an 11 month lay off, he hasnt won more than 2 fights in a row since 2001, Randy always comes strong though, but I would like to see a rematch

Sorry that I dont think Brock is the best fighter in the world and think he will smash everyone, he has weaknesses, is still somewhat new to the sport and the UFC doesnt even have the 2 best HWs in the world in Fedor and Barnett

Like I have said in the past, guys want to put new fighters right at the top without them proving it
