first things first, its to make sure the D doesn't bring in a total run stop package (since there would no QB in the huddle) so the offense still technically has an advantage, second, its gives the threat of a trick play (double pass, reverse pass, etc.), and third, they are split out so they do not get hurt trying to throw blocks on people that outweigh them by 100 lbs (already addressed, but w/e)... i would expect having to explain this to someone like champ, but not you, c'mon you are better than this glen... :smh:
