I haven't received my copy from Amazon yet but I'm guessing it's the standard edition.

No they aren't. The Epic Edition was only supposedly first run copies. Amazon has apparently been sold out of them for a while whereas you can walk into pretty much any retailer and see plenty of copies still.

This is one of the games where I love the campaign and the story behind it. I love all the weapons and what they do with the game, but I just can not get into the multiplayer. I have a friend of mine who loves it, but he also hardly ever plays Call of Duty. Meanwhile, my CoD friends are the opposite.

I'll get the game for sure, but the campaign is where its at for me.

I watched the Quick Look video for the GOW3 Beta on Giant Bomb yesterday, and I agree.

Everything about the controls, movement, and aiming just seems so awkward to me.

would be badass, but I think you have to download something first and if thats the case then you have to wait for ms to update its marketplace

Massively bummed I didnt get any of the damn twitter codes.

Alot of people dont like the Old lancer at all others love it.

Many are still saying the range/power of the shotgun is still too much. I figured with the Double barrel they would have dumbed down the power a bit ..only makes sense.

How is the mantle kick ? i.e when your in cover and someone jumps over to knock you down.

Seems like it can be annoying.

Also describe the sniper alittle further...I thought in GOW 2 sniper was perfect. Had a learning curve and took alot of time to get right. But still lethal in the right hands. Or is it more like gow 1 with cheap corner shots and instant active downs.
