Honestly think WR depth is one of the teams strenths right now.

Jordan Cameron is not better off as a WR he's a true in-line TE, Travis Benjamin will not be having a D-Jax impact in any sense of the word. Burleson will be 33 and hasn't made any real impact since 2011. Hawkins is strictly a slot receiver and Little can't catch a cold bare naked in Antarctica. WR depth is one of the Browns biggest needs. Not even close to being a strength.

Almost an A, but the Steelers didn't do enough at the CB in the first few rounds when we could have. MLB Shazier is just an amazing prospect. I mean he's explosive, 42 inch vert 4.36 forty, finds lanes in pursuit to the ball extremely well, good coverage skills. He's going to produce right away. Then we got two behemoths in Tuitt and McCullers. Tuitt had and injury that set him back in 2013 and he ballooned up to 335. He cut that weight to 305 and at 6-6 he's a big body 5 tech DE, perfectly suited for our style of defense. But then in the 5th we get 6'8 351 lbs!! He was the strongest DT at the combine, huge body that requires double teams to contain. Another perfectly suited big man to play NT. I would give us an A+ if we didn't let so many CBs get drafted before we finally picked one up. We got a tall WR 6-5 210 lbs Bryant with speed and remarkably agile for a big man. Also the fastest most agile back in the draft with Archer. Archer will return kicks this year, and will tote the rock a little at HB. I do like the OG we picked up too. Just a good solid draft class with a lot of potential.

Apparently Dallas was on the phone with Shaziers agent when the Steelers drafted him. :damnit:
Cant just rate the prospect have to consider where he's going. Steelers are such a haven for Linebackers Ill really be surprised if hes not a ProBowl caliber guy within 2 years.

If the Lions offense isn't unstoppable and have to rely on their defense at all: C-

Ebron was a luxury pick for a team that has way too many holes. He is a great player and I hope the best for him, but I just see way too many holes for the Lions to be successful in the NFC.

Ebron was a luxury pick for a team that has way too many holes. He is a great player and I hope the best for him, but I just see way too many holes for the Lions to be successful in the NFC.

I really liked the pick. With Tate and Ebron, you finally have targets outside of Calvin Johnson, and I think all three players benefit from this. The two of them can make plays when defenses focus on Johnson, and if they have to split the extra attention, Johnson will benefit from single coverage. Teams won't be able to double him all of the time anymore, and if he's already this good under those circumstances, think of how well he will be now.

I like building the offense slowly. Things aren't going to be fixed in one season, and a player like Ebron is going to go a long way in future seasons.

Benjamin is best used when you send him down the seam on a 9 and toss it up to him. Cleveland hasn't really had a guy that was able to do that and maximize his bread'n'butter.

Getting Pryor was a great move and obvious Izdik is building the Jets to be a Seahawks west of sorts. We need a kid who lays the lumber in the secondary and has enough range to play the deep middle. I think he can do both.

Amaro, I just love how he's a big ass target and a quick twitch type TE...he's not super fast but he will get open and a redzone guy who can easily start over Cumberland.

Getting Dexter from Maryland, he has a lot of potential but was injured. If he's healthy, he seems to play the ball well...and is tough.

Saunders is a super speedy guy and reminds me a bit of Cooks, except dude is FRAIL...like 160lbs isn't going to cut it...but he maybe able to return kicks and eventually become a slot type. Shaq Evans maybe the one to watch out for though...has good enough speed and makes some really tough catches. I like Quincy Enuwma to hit the PS and maybe contribute down the road.

Boyd was meh, never been high on him and Dozier is raw but has tons of potential.

Overally getting one of those top WR's I wasn't really happy with but getting great value grabbing the best safety prospect and Amaro who was #2 TE in the draft is great value. Evans/Saunders/Enuwma will have to step up to hopefully provide a #2/3 type WR alongside Decker but I'm not thinking it will happen.

First reaction to the Packer draft was a little negative. After a better, more in-depth look I'd give it a B-B+.

1. Ha Ha Clinton Dix FS- I think this was a no brainer home run pick. Green Bay's starting Safeties were the worst in the NFL last year and Clinton-Dix was widely regarded as the top safety among draft pundits.
2. Davanta Adams WR- His number were astronomical. I'm a tad bit worried about him being a product of his college offense but his ball skills and hands were some of the best in the draft. I think this kid has a chance to be very good in an offense that is very kind to WRs.
3. Khyri Thorton DT- Not a fan of this pick but I think the Packers had a lil bad luck with Nix going 2 picks earlier. I think the kid will be serviceable. He has the explosion to play the 3 tech which I think the Packers will use more of this year. I'm not sure I like him at nose or the 5 tech because I don't think he has the size or length to play a 2 gap scheme.
3. Richard Rodgers TE- This is where the pundits beat the Packers up. There wasn't much available on the board and I have a feeling the Packers knew a team or two had their eyes on him. I like the kids body control and his hands. He's got limited time as a receiving TE due to the college coach switch. I think he'll do well with AR 12 if he works hard. He has the talents and measurables.
4. Carl Bradford OLB- I love the value here for the Packers. I'm unsure what they'll do with him as some think he can play inside in the He's a high motor guy that at worst case gives GB depth outside.
5. Corey Linsley- This is another good value pick at what could be a position of need. He needs work in pass pro but he is a mauler in the run game. He'll battle with Tretter for the starting Center spot next year IMO.
5. Jared Abbrederis- This was another great value pick as many thought he was a 3rd rounder. He's a guy that absolutely handed 1st round pick Bradley Roby, his arse. He's not the fastest guy but he's a precise route runner and tremendous worker. I think Rodgers will love this kid.
6. Demetri Goodson CB- He's a gy that missed a ton of time at Baylor due to injuries. He has the measurable of a NFL CB and Green Bay has had tremendous luck with CBs like him. I think he's going to have a hard time making the roster this year with Green Bay's quality depth at CB but if he does he could be a steal for the Packers.
7. Jeff Janis WR- Another great value pick. He was rated as the second best athlete among WRs in this draft class. Didn't play a whole lot of high level competition and has small hands for a WR. With all 3 of Green Bay's WRs being FA or FRA next year I like this pick.

I'd have liked to see an ILB or more beef on the defensive front but overall I love the value they got with some of these picks. I like the draft.

Yes, great first post. I think GB was preparing to lose two of their WR's. Free agency has been very kind to wide receivers in recent seasons, and I would expect them to lose some talent they've built up because you can't keep them all and fill other needs. Very great draft from that regard, and also taking Clinton-Dix with the first pick. They have to be happy he fell to them.

I don't agree about WR contracts as I think they've been very affordable the last 2 years. Greg Jennings lost money on the open market. Eric Decker, who is younger than Jordy and is comparable in performances is playing for 15 million guaranteed and 7 1/4 million per year. I don't think there is even a minuscule chance that they lose both Cobb and Nelson. They've got a ton of cap space still available and their core players are already secured to long term deals. The only core players that will be scheduled to be FA next year are the two WRs and maybe Tyrone Williams, who will be 32. I could see one or both of them extended before the start of the season as they can afford to dump a plethora of money from this year's cap into their 1st year's number. Green Bay's cap management has been superb. They may lose one of them (possibly Jordy by choice because of his age like they lost Jennings and Jones) but I don't think Thompson lets them both walk. One will be franchised before that occurs.

I was not a fan of the Redskins draft at all.

Trent Murphy- There was a ton of talent left on the board that could have provided immediate help and filled starting spots but we took a high motor backup OLB instead. The only way this pick makes sense to me is if they are serious about the possibility of Murphy sliding inside.

Morgan Moses- I like Moses but I think he's a product of the pre draft hype machine. I don't know if he's capable of playing RT.

Spencer Long- Hated the pick at first until I looked into it more. Initially was upset that we took Long over some of the more well known guard prospects but Long realistically is a better fit for what the Redskins are trying to accomplish

Breshaud Breeland- Loved this pick. He's the kind of guy you can place anywhere in the secondary.

Ryan Grant- Productive player who was drafted into a crowded WR situation. Probably a better route runner than most of the guys currently on the roster though. Probably tops out as a Jason Avant kind of player who can move the chains on 3rd down.

Lache Seastrunk- Can't argue that he's great value here but I'm not sure the Redskins needed him here. I can see there may be a need for a 3rd down back but he played in a system that completely hid any and all abilities that a 3rd round back needs to possess. Can he block? Can he catch? We don't really know.

Ted Bolser- I think I was the only one here who had been saying the Redskins needed to draft a TE at some point. However I felt they needed to get more of an inline blocker than Bolser.

Zach Hocker- Did the Redskins needed a kicker? Yes. Kai Forbath is a solid placekicker but he's among the league's worst in touchbacks. This team's defense isn't built to consistently give up solid field possession on every kickoff. Hocker will probably make the team as a kickoff guy but do those guys warrant draft selections?

Overall I give the draft a C- mainly because I appreciated seeing the effort made to acquire more picks in the draft
