I'm already getting kinda bored with the game which is not a good sign. Then again I haven't started the A-Spec career stuff yet and have only been meddling in the license tests and special events.

You almost DQ'd twice in one turn @ 3:29

BUT I just came here to post the same thing, I think I tried that race at least 20 times and kept getting boxed in or accidentally hitting a cone, so I said screw it I'll try later. Then I accidentally hit restart, so I decided to give it a go again, and won the race by 2+ seconds

That track blows. The furthest I can get without getting DQ'd is the first couple corners on the second lap. And then on the Lotus I was doing better but went off track a little bit on the final turn and got DQ'd. BULLSHIT

I want this game but I refuse to play it w/o a wheel. I just dont know if I will play it enough to justify spending 120+ on a wheel. Decisions.... decisions

Does this game have lasting appeal? We know the next one wont be out for like 8 years so is this something that will be relevant for years to come?

If you want it then get it. There's soooo much to do and so many cars to collect its absurd.

There's so much to do offline, I haven't run online, just spectator mode.

There is a wheel on amazon for $99.99 with a $30 mail in rebate so it end sup being $69.99. Its suppose to be a great deal since it's usually $150 and not much of a difference than the $300 one made by the same company.
