They had a used Tommy Kaira available, but I couldn't buy the beast because I am at Level 14, I have to be at 15 for that.....grrr

No that is "Like the Wind" in the Extreme races

I could only win the first race with the vette in the GT All-Stars. I did use the vette to win the Like the Wind races, then used the Toyota GT-One race car that you get for GT All-Stars. People from GTPlanet have won GT All-Stars with the vette but I don't have the tracks memorized, especially the Nordschleife and I got my ass handed to me.

For the vette, buy a Z06 or ZR1 from the dealership, race modify it, then do all of the other tuning after that. Its roughly 600k total but is a beast of a car. Use this tune, it does wonders:

Downforce: 35/53
Transm.: 360 km/h (380 at Nordschliefe)
Initial torque: 10
Acc sens: 20
Brake sens: 10
Ride h: 5/5 (35/35 at Nordschleife)
Spring: 16.6/14.4
Damp ext 9/7
Damp comp: 9/7
Anti RB: 3/5
Camber: 2/1.5
Toe: 0/-0.30
Brakes: 5/7

I play around with the rear breaks depending on track. Its good at 7 but if I want better turn in use 8, better stability a 6.

Another tip is that for the Nurburgring Nordschleife race in GT All-stars, I made the gearing a little longer so I could outrun the other cars down that long ass straightaway at the end of the track, it also helps for other long sections on that track.

I tried that damn Top Gear intermediate challenge last night for an hour. I thought Lotus were supposed to easy to handle, these cars fly of the track god forbid if you brake. And if you get on the gas, not matter how smooth, the car just spins out of control.

I saw a youtube of a guy going gold on this, and I have no idea how he pulled that shit off.

The tires they make you use is why it feels like ice. Only thing I can say to help is turn on Skid Recovery Force, and practice. If you aren't in 3rd by the start of the second lap, start over.

I have both those Vettes and a '08 SRT10 currently at 619hp.

Which one would be the best to max out at this time [in LVL 19] for GT stars and beyond?

Well I can tell you from experience the SRT10 maxed out won't win you the All-Stars. It would if the tracks were more basic and the 1000+ HP could really show up but they're not. I'm pretty sure you actually need a race car or RM a vette (like beer did).

Kinda of figured that might be the case when I saw that I couldn't RM the SR, but the experienced help is appreciated.

Definitely the vette because of the racing modification, the downforce it gives you is the key factor.

I used to work for a team in IndyCar and the amount of downforce those cars generate is insane...in theory at 225 mph, they could drive on an upside down track because the lbs of downforce is several times the weight of the car.

I'm going to open a lobby if anyone is interested tonight, probably gonna leave the racing line on, because Tuesday night was sloppy as hell, at least it was for me anyways :laugh:

Buick Special is awesome, thing is beastly for a lot of beginner/amateur races. I may have even used it in some pro races, I can't remember now
