Would you have any interest in starting off your morning with a new look at Grand Theft Auto 5? How about two new looks? Well that's exactly what Rockstar Games has for you this morning: two new screens from the highly anticipated game.

The images were released in the latest Asked & Answered column on Rockstar's Newswire. It's a running feature that offers fans the opportunity to ask the developer their most burning questions. MoreGTA 5 info and assets are promised "soon," but these two new looks at the upcoming game's revised Los Santos ought to whet your appetite at least. Find the second image after the jump. If that's still not enough, you could always watch that Grand Theft Auto 5 debut trailer again.

It's definitely doable. I don't see anything in those photos that scream next gen. Hell, if someone found screen shots of GTA4 way back when the game was announced, they probably wouldn't look much different than these screen shots. Now I do think it would be super hard to make it look that good on a 360 with multiple discs. Because it is an open world game you will be switching disc constantly and they would have to compress a shit ton of info to fit the game world on regular DVDs. It wasn't as bad with L.A. Noire because the store was pretty linear but still the game looked a lot better on PS3. This game world is supposed to be, what, three times the size of GTA4? That game was pushing the limits on 360 but PS3 had plenty of room to spare.

I'm interested in seeing how they work this. I'm even more interested in seeing all the 360 defenders defend how it's no big deal if they have to change their disc every 30 mins.

U really think your the only one that is thinking of this....its rockstar. They will probably have a disc that makes you install a portion of the game on the hdd. Fuck if skyrim can fit on one disc......

In case you missed the GTA V train yesterday, you should know that Rockstar miraculously revealed two official screenshots for the game. This is after waiting more than eight months when the outfit revealed V’s first trailer.

As expected, hundreds of articles have spawned on the web analyzing the pictures, but the thing that caught our attention are these opinion pieces stating the said game is made for “next-gen” console, in particular, those two ghost devices from Sony and Microsoft.
While we’re not here to debate on which is which, it’s important to gather data first before doing some ‘theorycrafting’. That being said, it’s most certain that GTA V will be revealed during Q4 of 2012 until Q2 2013 basing from Take Two’s Financial Call confirming the company expects their stock to be ‘pushed’ for more than 2 bucks between those period.

As much as we want to indulge the obsession of the crowd, analyzing those two screenshots into giant proportions. The assumptions about the game debuting on next-gen consoles doesn’t match.
In fact, if you’ll look at the pictures again, and view the

of GTA V in 720p closely (like the photo we’ve taken above); it’s noticeable that both screens matches with one another, giving no credence the quality of the two newer pics are for next-gen consoles.
Also, it’s important to mention that Xbox 720 and PS4 are only expected to arrive by holidays of 2013, at least, making it illogical to see the mogul sandbox game debuting by that time considering it will be released earlier if you’ll check the points we raised above.
Right now, fans are just happy that Rockstar Games can pull out such extensive display of graphics, even some of its elements are hindered by X360 / PS3′s old hardware.
For the latest buzz, let’s see if Rockstar will give another trail of breadcrumb during Gamescom 2012. Fingers crossed!

Compared to the missions of San Andreas, I think GTA4's were just fine. One of the few things I think they did right.

im not saying the missions were not good missions. i enjoyed the story aspect, but i think you would be hard pressed to find many people who disagree with the ease of the missions
